Vahn is great, and I highly recommend him! He knows his stuff and has many years of experience in construction, civil engineering and home inspections. He grew up in a household that's in construction and real estate. He quickly responds to the first request for information. However, you should be able to find all you need from the detailed breakdown of prices on his website. He spent four hours on our house and thoroughly explained the HVAC system, how all our equipment works, and how to maintain it through the seasons. Very patient with answering all my Q's because I know nothing about it. While our home is relatively new and within limited warranty, he did find some HVAC-related items, electrical panel and external areas to improve. What did we receive at the end? A detailed 45-page report (we had two HVAC systems) with 10+ recommendations and pictures. He even had diagrams of our electrical, heating and plumbing systems etc. All the model numbers of our equipment and home appliances were listed and submitted to notify us of any recalls on an ongoing basis. It was worth it for us to get the home inspection after purchase. We paid for the extended thermal scan of the home, but we didn't upgrade for the radon scan. However, it's only $30 to add on a radon scan if you want a quick check.

We bought a new construction home and wanted to do an inspection for our upcoming one year warranty. I emailed and had a phone call with them before booking. The whole team was very friendly and knowledgable. They took the time to explain what each service entailed. We ended up getting a Tarion Warranty home inspection with some add ons: radon testing, sewer inspection and thermal imaging. Pricing wise, we would say Twin Peaks was priced fairly. We had some quotes that were lower and some that were a lot higher as well. We had Brad as our inspector and he was great! We didn't feel like anything was rushed. We asked a lot of questions and he took the time to explain things to us. The report was sent to us the next day in digital format with all the explanations and pictures attached so we could copy and paste to Tarion. Setting up an appointment was very easy. The inspector, Jim, is very friendly and approachable. He is very knowledgeable in his field, and extremely thorough in the inspection, noting not only big things, but even the small details, such as a missing screw in the fuse box. All during the inspection Jim would answer questions and point out things that need repair or altering. He also has a great infra-red camera that can identify hiding cold/damp spots in the walls and ceilings Everything is documented in writing and photographs, and he emails a thorough report at the end of the inspection. Prices aren't the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive in the area. But in my opinion the prices charged are fair, and certainly value for money.
