Working together with her excellent communication has been a wonderful experience. We have been with Southgroup Insurance-Gulf Coast for 3 years now and are thrilled with the professionalism and personal care. Switching over was the best decision we have made with our insurance needs. From learning what services are offered to insurance terms, Tammy has taught us the understanding of the process better than we ever knew before with our previous providers. We trust that she gets as many quotes as possible for comparison to save us money and get the services we need. She explains any quotes from what we are reading to what we are signing before signing any document. Confirming any changes we may have has always been important to her and we appreciate that as well. We always know when she will be out and who we can contact if we have any concerns while she is out, but we usually wait because we feel so secure with her. She answers our emails and voicemails either within minutes or by the end of the day. Any of our questions that the carriers are needed for, she works on it immediately and keeps us posted if there is any delay on the carrier's side. I waited a few weeks to make sure everything was resolved before leaving my review. I reached out…read moreto cancel my insurance on 9/16. He then replied to that email that he needed proof of the new policy to cancel. I later realized that he was not entitled to this information. If you send him a cancellation request, please know that he does not have to get that information. The only company that needs proof of insurance is your mortgage company. He only requested it to see which company I moved to. After he found out, he replied with the most unprofessional email. He told me that I should have cancelled months ago, despite having gotten the renewal notice less than 4 weeks before my mortgage company mailed out a check. He also told me that the company I was going with was having a 24.5% rate increase as of 10-1-2022 and that I would be in the same boat at renewal. My new agent called the company that I have switched to, and they stated that was not true. I believe it was all intimidation tactics. At the end of the day, Mr. Poulos' attitude due to loss of business is all I needed to know that I made the right decision in switching agents. I was able to cancel my insurance directly with the company and get a refund issued without it being have the big issue he made it out to be. Please know that he is only concerned with his bottom dollar and not what he can save you. There are plenty of other brokers on the coast that write for the same agencies as he does. Choose wisely.

Beware using this agent and his staff. I had a claim that was completely mishandled by them. After…read morethe debacle, which cost me thousands of dollars, I called to speak to the actual agent and he didn't have the decency to return my phone call. Thankfully, this didn't hurt my family financially but for someone on a budget it could be devastating. Also, I happened to Google Ronald Tubb Allstate for the phone number and noticed three 5 star reviews. One was from a man named Tubb who only had one review which happened to be 5 stars for Tubb Allstate. Another was from a man named Jeff Rouse, who actually works for Ronald Tubb and also has only ever posted one review. Of course, the reviews go on and on about how great the staff and agent is. I cannot believe how shady and unprofessional it is to post phony reviews for your own business to raise the rank on Google or give the consumer a false sense of quality and confidence. That is what prompted me to write this now. I wish I could get my premium payments back and I would not insure my outside cats plywood shelter with this agent and his staff.
