Working together with her excellent communication has been a wonderful experience. We have been with Southgroup Insurance-Gulf Coast for 3 years now and are thrilled with the professionalism and personal care. Switching over was the best decision we have made with our insurance needs. From learning what services are offered to insurance terms, Tammy has taught us the understanding of the process better than we ever knew before with our previous providers. We trust that she gets as many quotes as possible for comparison to save us money and get the services we need. She explains any quotes from what we are reading to what we are signing before signing any document. Confirming any changes we may have has always been important to her and we appreciate that as well. We always know when she will be out and who we can contact if we have any concerns while she is out, but we usually wait because we feel so secure with her. My 84 mother old mother has had multiple property and auto policies with Kathy Rogers since 2005…read more My mother knows nothing about insurance or business and trusted Kathy Rogers. In 2007 I reviewed my moms polices and was totally shocked at how much she was paying. Kathy Rogers had all over her policies maxed out on coverages with the lowest possible deductables to insure Rogers would make maximum commisssions off my mom. I thought well, no bid deal, we will just make some simple changes on the policies, lower the coverages and raise the deductables. Thats when I found out who the REAL Rogers insuance is. First of all, my mom is 84 and can barely drive yet Kathy insist that my mom come to the office in person to make any changes. This in itself is very, very difficult as my mom can barely drive. Then when my mom gets there Kathy Rogers completely manipulates her and uses fear tactics to prevent her from lowering coverages and raising deductables. So, as her son, I step in to get the changes made. Kathy and Lee will not talk to me or return my calls and refuse to change my moms policies. Here is a good example of Kathy Rogers "expertise". After reviewing my moms auto policy alone I discovered that she has paid over 20,000 dollars in premiums on a car that is only valued at 6,500.00!!!! That was at Kathy Rogers recomendation to my mom who like I said is 84 and put her trust in Rogers. Its one thing to be in business to make a profit but someting entirely different to lie, manipulate, finagle, and decieve an old woman in a way that makes the insurance company maximum commission checks. This has been going on for years because every time my mom tries to change her coverages Kathy manipulates her with fear tactics to not change. Then when I try to do it they wont talk to me or return my calls This is what happens when someone makes money their God....needless to say we are finally in process of switching carriers on all of my moms policies. To sum it up Rogers insurance is very controlling, manipulative, and deceptive and will stop at nothing to maximize profits
