Her website was easy to navigate and There was a lot of options for picture packages. I chose the first years package with Teagan photography which included maternity/newborn/6 months and one year. That was definitly a great decision on my part. The maternity portion we first met with Allison the photographer in the river valley and she made you feel at ease. She gave us a little sneak peak on the camera and a facebook sneak peak shortly after. I was so excited with the pictures. The newborn pictures were done in our house and I was just blown away with how patient she was with our little girl who pooped and peed all over. Being a brand new mom she took away the stress and was very relaxed and just worked so well with us and the new baby. Again we loved our pictures and she was quick with all of the sneak peaks. We have had our 6 month session and I have just been blown away with the great pictures she has taken and how well they all work together. In a few months we will have our 1 year pictures but they will not be the last! In the end she will bind all the photos in a book and we will have an awesome keepsake of our little lady. Once I finally got in touch with him and went to view my photos, he locked me in his office and made me feel very uncomfortable. He pressured me to pay an absurd amount, which sadly I did because I felt I had no other option. I tried to cancel my order(within 48 hours of the appointment) and asked for a refund, but of course, he never returns his messages. By the time he messaged me back, over a week later, he said it was too late and my order had already been sent to be printed. I was told the edits would be sent to me for approval before printing, and they never were. He claims he sent my photos to another country for printing because no lab in Canada meets his standards.... ya, okay?! I asked for proof that they were sent to another country and of course, nothing has been provided. If you are looking for someone professional, this is not it!

His pictures are the perfect touch of candidness and in the moment yet beautifully composed. He gave really good instructions for us modelling newbies which was another concern of mine. But luckily, he knew how to explain poses well and how to direct us and the bridal party. Another thing that I loved about Kelly is that he was willing to take into account the bridal party suggestions and the personality of the bride and groom. I was part of a wedding where the photographer militarily stuck to their planned poses and rejected most suggestions from the bridal party. The photos did not capture the heart of the bride and groom or the bridal party. My friends were incredibly disappointed in that experience. So make sure you find a photographer that you jive with! I also highly recommend spending the extra to do a day-after or engagement shoot with him. We loved our day after pictures and he came up with such brilliant ideas for them. You get more time with Kelly in your respective wedding outfits so the poses and shots get to be more creative. It is wicked fun. Of course he is a bit on the medium-high price range for Edmonton wedding photographers. But for my husband and I that was one area we felt it was okay to spend extra on while cutting costs in other less important areas. The wedding day goes by so fast that many of our friends and family said photography is one of the most important parts of your wedding planning as they will be the ones capturing the memories. No appointment necessary. I paid for one hour parking and we were here for only about 30 minutes? They are super efficient at what they do here. Very impressive because they are excellent with babies. Because there are located beside the passport office, I think they're experts on what photos get accepted. There were three people in my group who took pictures, one person paid for two persons pictures and another person in the group paid for the 3rd person however since we didn't pay individually one person didn't receive their pictures and we didn't realize until the next day and they accused us of not paying and we had to repay!!!
