I'm not personally very religious and had to walk in to buy a prop for a show, but the atmosphere was actually very pleasant and the variety of items were interesting to inspect. They sell books, DVD's, pictures, statues, jewellery and pretty much anything you can think of. Their website shows their full catalogue too. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the whole store just protruded positivity and happiness. If anything was to convert me, it'd probably be this store! Haha.

The bookshop stocks a wide range of books, from Mills and Boon stories to technical textbooks. If you love reading and have not yet visited our bookshop, a visit is a must. The important thing is the people behind the counter. Each and every one of them are lovely, talkative and real characters when they get a chance to open up and talk to you.

She'll put labels on the books but if the price has gone up since the book has been put in the system you won't know until the book has been scanned. That is false advertising and it is ILLEGAL. It also COSTS MONEY to take your books out of the store, which is also ILLEGAL. She charges a $2 'handling fee' which is absolutely ridiculous. She also is very hard to get your money from. It's like getting blood from a stone. 'Pay outs' haven't been paid to many families. The owner is also rude. Stay away. The way things are run are extremely questionable and ILLEGAL.

The Y.E.S Op Shop has great vibes as well as great stock. There is so much variety in the objects…read moreon the shelves that visiting the shop is like going treasure hunting; there's a lot of junk, but also plenty of good finds. The shop is run by volunteers to fund education qualifications for young people and the disadvantaged. They rely on donations of all their stock. They sell items inclusive of clothing, dvds, cds, books, toys and bric-a-brac. They only take quality items that are in good condition so there aren't any shockingly horrible things in there. The atmosphere is pretty friendly. People pop in and out as much to have a chat as to pick up something from the shop. The prices are fairly reasonable - the nicer and the newer an item the higher the price. It is logical. There are some prices that are a little higher than I would expect for an op shop but it is all going to a good cause so complaining is definitely not an option. There is also quite a large range of furniture and decor items in this op shop - definitely check it out.
