My mom who is 67 terminally ill of stage four cancer and I visited the office located at 17 Weber…read morethis week, hoping to notarize her will and POA. The two ladies and the dog at the front desk were awesome! Unfortunately Mark was not. Mark continually gazed at my breast-I felt very uncomfortable. I even kindly told him in the meeting you keep looking at my shirt-is there something on it (attempting to and break this issue in a friendly matter). However he was very dismissive and disparaging. He cut both my mom and I off multiple times, while asking clarifying questions; 1) Mark stated it standardly takes a minimum of week for him to notarize a will and POA. 2) Mark stated this would cost up to 500.00. dollars. 3) Mark said that I had to step out of the room-which was very odd-especially since I am care giving for my mom. (I could understand if I was the POA for possible contest-however this was not the case). Luckily, we saw another lawyer right afterwards- Bryan J Tham located on 127 Duke St E ( in case anyone needs notary). Bryan was great. He advised we may have been misadvised. Its 60.00 per page to notarize a will and POA, it can be done in the same business day for time sensitivity, ( as my mom does not wish to pass away in Canada). Furthermore parties that are not on the will or POA do not need to step out of the room. This service was just overall deeming and dehumanizing. I echo my concerns in the multiple comments on here. I hope that Mark changes his demeanor to folks-rich or poor, Chinese or White-everyone deserves adequate care. If anyone else has gone through this-please speak up! God see all-the more people talk-that's how change happens.

i was directed to mark grossmen by legal aid ontario and spoke with him on the phone on a Friday…read moreafternoon. he asked me to send over my case. so i did, i got back in contact with him for a consultation Monday and it was scheduled for Wednesday. well come the consultation it turned out he never reviewed my case by no means, was clouded by opposing lawyers party and decided to infactuate himself on a part of the case that was deemed irrelevant. so needless to say he asked for 10k up front and me being a concrete finisher on unemployment for another month or 2 said that was the best he can do. that was just for him to "start" a case that i have been self represented in for 3 years. i would be better off using the 10k to enroll in law school then be represented by him. i wish i looked on here first because i never would have wasted the 3 days waiting for the consultation.
