His five crew members are also pros. He works along side them, and they are a very cohesive group of professionals, good-natured, and good people. Several neighbors had reccommended Carlos Corradini to us. His quote for the job was competitive. No additional costs. When I asked for a quote, Mark came out, inspected everything, measured everything, and gave me a quote the next day. Frankly, it was a bit more than I wanted to spend, so I spent time considering options. I had other companies offer quotes without seeing the roof, and that made me worry a bit about possible hidden costs. In the end, I went with Blue Sky, and I couldn't be happier. I haven't seen rain yet, but the roof looks great, and I have absolutely no worries. I have a small house, but the crew (John, Ben, Curtis, Scotty, and Nate) showed up when expected and finished the entire job in just three days. They were respectful, friendly, and even put up with my mess and four dogs (barking ad nauseam). They also cleaned up the area once they were finished. Many thanks to Mark and the crew. Our home was built 28 years ago and after trying to seal the corners and joints for years, I finally decided to have it done professionally. I am also almost 70 and did not want to clean the gutters anymore. They added two downspouts where there were low spots and where I noticed overflowing with the heavy rains. They also found one area where the original gutters were not installed properly which has caused rot. I am SO happy I hired them to work for me. With them discovering the improperly installed gutter, I will be able to get it repaired at a minimal cost instead of a major one. If you want work done and you want it done right, call Alves. Although the plexiglass sunroom roof was not technically what T&T had redone, it had not leaked before they put the new roof on, so we called them. They came back, took a look, did some more work. Lather, rinse, repeat. The sunroom leaked, we called, they did more work. This pattern repeated itself for several weeks. Then during a heavy rain, I stepped out our front door and the eaves were leaking like a sieve. This was a section they had re-roofed. That night I went prowling through our house with a flashlight, looking up at the ceiling. I found glistening water oozing through the ceiling in two rooms. This time Jerry at T&T said they would just entirely remove the new roof and replace it. They did an exemplary job, adding extra protection against leaking. When they tore the roofing shingles off, they saw they were cut slightly differently from how they are usually cut. It was a bad batch of shingles. All this time nobody at T&T complained. They took responsibility and replaced the faulty roof with a new one. We were so glad we went with a highly-rated company. Would recommend T&T.

They installed new ridge vents in my roof when they put on my new metal roof and the ridge vents were supposed to solely rely on adequate soffit ventilation which they did not install. When we finally noticed my attic plywood was saturated, wet and had mildew on it we called them and they sent a guy out to look at it and when he climbed in the attic noticed that there was old insulation pushed up against the baffling area which they didn't check at the time of installation of the roof because they said they didn't get in our attic. They told me at that point that they dont do ventilation and i should have had a contractor do that but obviously they do if they installed and cut in ridge vents/ventilation in my attic. Long story short I called my insurance which flew in an engineer from Arizona to look at it which said it was due to improper soffit ventilation and the gable end vents were also supposed to be blocked so the ridge vents empire installed could solely rely on the soffit air flow which empire didn't install. The Better Business Bureau came to the same conclusion when they came and looked at it and in the end right before we were going to go to arbitration redwood empire realized they were going to lose the case so Redwood Empire Roofing settled to pay us to have someone else fix the damage they created. A situation which ultimately cost them as much to fix as we paid them to install the metal roof in the first place. Avoid this company at all costs. They truly will try and make your life hell if you end up having a warranty issue with their workmanship. I should add a whole bunch of photos on here but I'll save everyone the visual embarrassment of such a shitty job done by this fly by night company.
