He did not waiver at any difficult questions or concerns that I had during the inspection. He was extremely thorough, meticulously documenting critical safety and structural hazards that are often missed. The report clearly identified major issues, including double-tapped neutral wires in the electrical panel (fire hazard), a structural defect in the roof ridge board, and extensive moisture/pest evidence in the crawlspace and more. If you need an inspector who prioritizes safety and gives you the leverage needed for negotiation, we highly recommend Superior Home Inspections."

The inspection was performed by Daryl of Superior Home Inspections. This was by far the most in depth, detailed inspection I have seen. A friend was in attendance during the inspection and was also extremely impressed with the thoroughness of the procedure. I do not do recommendations because too often the business in question falls short. But, I would recommend this company to friends and family. They are that good.

Please disregard other poor reviews saying John doesn't do his job. If a client doesn't select to have their HVAC inspected, he is not an HVAC technician. ROBYN H should have selected getting her HVAC inspected. Just like if there is a roof issue, you need a roofer. An inspector is only licensed to do so much. Geeze. We have been so happy with John's attention to detail that we used him for our own personal house.

Turns out the seller (who is horrible for many reasons) had some jacked up electrician or friend wire the furnace. Called the warranty company American Home Shield (stay away from them, they NEVER authorize ANY claim, so do not waste your money.) Anyways they denied the claim as the furnace was wired so crappy. This does not fall under normal wear and tear. I am wondering why the hell this was not looked at during the inspection. He did check that the air turned on (it was summer time) and stated the air filter was the wrong size and the thermostat was not working. The unit is SO JACKED UP. Anyone can see it. So now it will cost us $9,000 for a new unit. Cool. NOT! Why was the home inspection done but not everything?

I called and he was like "yeah, we're busy, standard Monday morning stuff, can we come at 10?" No, you made an appointment with me to bid on a job, didn't show up or call. Doesn't bode well for work ethic or project management. If you can't manage your calendar and keep in contact with customers at this stage, there is zero trust that you would do so for an actual project. Shameful. Edit: am attaching photos of the series of text messages the owner sent me 10 minutes after I posted this review. Completely unprofessional.

TLDR at bottom*…read more Terrence did a decent job, unfortunately I will not be using him again due to lack of professionalism. I was given a great price for him to detail my car. When he showed up, he didn't let me know he was at my house, he just went straight to work, which I thought was odd but dismissed it. Once I realized he was out there, I apologized that my van was so dirty and said I understood if he needed to upcharge for it. He said it was fine. Once he finished I went to pay and my Cashapp was acting up. I was going to send $40 more than what he asked, but I wanted to make sure he got paid so I texted my husband and told him to send at least $20 more than what Terrence charged. My husband had just received some upsetting new from his mother so he just sent the lower amount. Later I discovered that the parts of my car were completely soaked, so I was a little less satisfied than I originally was. Terrence messaged me the following morning asking if I had paid him. I told him that my husband had. He said that he saw me type in the $40 more, not just $20. I had left him on read for a few minutes as I was getting my son's breakfast ready and it was Thanksgiving morning. He replied that it's fine and only will be accepted once and blocked me. I accidentally called and hung up to text him and explain so he called back. When I told him who I was he hung up on me. I left him a voice mail trying to explain the situation and that maybe instead of banking on getting great tips, he should have accepted when I offered to pay extra for my van being dirty or charge more. I also told him that had he been more respectful about the situation, I would have sent him the difference. I texted him the same thing and went on about my weekend. He decided to try to text me this morning to continue on about it. TLDR; Terrence did a good job cleaning but may leave your car soaked, and has terrible communication skills. He charges great rates, but may get bitter if you don't tip 50% or more. My 30% tip wasn't good enough. Don't bring your car to him if you don't clean it first. He also called me weeks later to try to debate my review, then texted me to try to argue about it. His lack of professionalism is disappointing.
