Appointments are long enough to have a conversation and for your provider to "see the whole picture" - and actually get to know you. I've always been treated as a "whole person" instead of just as a number or as a disease. I appreciate that my provider always provides options and involves me in decisions and encourages autonomy. I see Kara Menzer N.D. (who is wonderful and HAES aligned) related to women's health and Ian McLogan N.D. (Also gender affirming and HAES aligned) for everything else - and I am so so so immensely grateful for him. Dr. McLogan is absolutely everything I've ever and could ever want in a PCP. If you care about your well-being, DO NOT see Jacqueline Riddick, MD at the Tukwila location. She…read morewill gaslight you, not listen to a word you say, and prescribe you overly aggressive antibiotics for an ailment she will later admit you never had. She will not believe you when you tell her about your well-documented medical history because she "hasn't heard" of elementary symptoms of diabetes. She really makes you rethink how hard medical school must be. There needs to be annual testing for doctors to maintain their medical license. I'd bet a million dollars she'd never pass. Also, the Tukwila office is dirty, dust balls and grime in every corner. The only positive thing I can say is about the nursing staff, who were kind and competent.

The office location is great, parking is easy and every time I am there I never sit in the room for more than 5 minute - they are always on time! My appreciation for Dr. McDonald grew immensely when my current medication for my migraines was no longer working. In tears in her office, she immediately responded to my symptoms as menstrual migraines and had 2 recommendations for me. She is a savior, as the medication she prescribed now keeps my 2 day migraines at bay. She was wonderful beside manner, I very much enjoy being a patient of hers.

I am currently back in town for several months, and she has graciously taken me back as a patient. She is the most knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive Dr. I have ever met, often responding to emails long after-hours. Most importantly, Dr. Cabodi listens to her patients and always suggests the simplest, least invasive, and most natural treatment she can first, rather than immediately pulling out the prescription pad. Her support staff is equally excellent. Dr. Cabodi is the absolute best, and I can't recommend her enough.

I was 9 minutes late to an X-ray they told me I MUST have before the appointment (same building). When I took the Elevator upstairs they refused to see me because I was 9 minutes late. The doctor I was scheduled to see even came out of her office (eating) to tell me she couldn't see me because she was seeing other patients. Oh really? It was still my appointment time when she told me this. Liar! I left asking for a supervisors number. I am no longer interested in the Podiatrists at Polyclinic... please do your research!

Only much later did I really learn how important it was that she knew enough at the time to run the test for the specific type of diabetes that I had. I have certainly put Dr. Sheckter to the test of all of her knowledge with my laundry list of ailments, yet she passed all the tests. First, she listens well. Second, she always has the knowledge to make the correct answer. This might mean knowing when the specialist needs to be called in. Third, she clearly communicates what needs to happen next.
