Most of the members in this private club are there to socialize as they do not have a boat. This is not a requirement for joining the yacht club. Boating, water safety and environmental issues with the waterways makes the Oak Harbor Yacht Club a great place to join. Visitors are always welcome. Social events encourage families with children to participate. There is a venue upstairs for rent. Member prices are deeply discounted. The view of the harbor is unbeatable. The clubhouse is located next to the marina and a large park with playground that can be used by everyone.

Now here are the cons : The people showing there horses just need to really keep account on where there horse is we had about 2-3 loose horses. and let me tell you it was really upsetting. My horse was getting spooked by the loose horses all the time like. Come on its not that hard to keep an eye on your horse. Also when showing The little kids all ways get first place. Witch is not fair to kids like me.
