Mr. Corkill is a great attorney! The attorney for the other side was joking around with the judge…read moreand staff, and they obviously had a friendly rapport. However, that mattered little during our custody trial. Mr. Corkill was able to calmly direct the judge to the matter of the children involved and what is best for their well-being. As the other attorney tried to expose small inconsistencies of dates and times to discredit any testimony we might have made, Mr. Corkill was able to redirect the conversation to the big picture and what mattered. I don't know how this might have turned out without his help and expertise!

Erin took on our…read morevery complicated Restraining Order case we had against an 'individual' who was obsessed with harassing my wife and I. This 'individual,' we now have a restraining order against, lied to the courts and tried to place the blame on us for his behavior. He was able to obtain a temporary restraining order against us and we had one on him. This 'individual' is a seasoned criminal and had some knowledge on how to work and attempt to deceive the justice system. Erin was able to work with us in order to reveal the truth and dismantle his lies. This was one of the hardest things I had ever been though and Erin was compassionate, understanding, and able to fully listen and grasp the level of detail to the situation much better than any other attorneys we interviewed. We needed her patience for this case and she gave it. The case drew out over six months because of the delay tactics of the 'individual.' The case almost got drawn out further but Erin was able to stop that from happening. Erin's knowledge of the laws and the court system is par excellence! The temporary restraining order was dropped from my wife and myself. The 'individual' now has a permanent 5 year restraining order on him. Erin was able to work with us through this most bazaar and difficult challenge. By working so diligently on the case, Erin gave us our life back, our sanity and peace of mind. I will always be grateful to her, her abilities and determination to bring justice to our case.

She failed to show up!! When I called her office directly after the postpone court date. For receptionist claim that she been in an accident was in the hospital. I called the hospital who told me that she normally was there but they never heard of her before. Come to find out the woman has an illegal drug problem it was aiding and abetting a felon her boyfriend actually. I called her probably 40 or 50 times trying to get my money back. On one occasion her boyfriend began threatening me through text. Pretty sure it was just miss Famino. I promised her that I would continue to write reviews about her until I got my $1,000 back. Not sure if it's still on drugs but she's failed to even correspond with me about the money she owes me.

I find Pamela Lauser to be competent, of a sound and body attorney, most importantly accountable…read more I am going through a nasty divorce. Ex wife wants money she isn't entitled too, Pam understands the language of our prenup. I have a friend of mine that is going through alimony/child support issues, and Pamela was brutally honest and upfront with my friend to keep the attorney she has to represent her. I asked her to go in and get a consultation from Pamela, and Pamela had already done her diligence to look in to my friends case, asked about parentage, etc. Its not all about the money with Pamela. When you are in the court room both parties will win some, and lose some, when it comes to divorce. Life is a gamble, I expect that. I don't expect Pamela to win, everything for me, but I expect her to represent me well and to take accountability, and that's exactly what she does.

I can only speak to my personal account of Ms. Lauser's representation in a Family Law matter…read more I've had 5 different family law attorneys in Shasta County. She was the worst one. Positives: She is a friendly person to speak with while she represents you. Negatives: Her knowledge in family law is inept. I was financially injured due to her negligence of a piece of property I bought prior to a marriage that my ex claimed partial ownership that was a complete lie. It was a rental property. I hired a forensic accountant expert who provided a very detailed report protecting my property. However, what Ms. Lauser failed to do was ask me for my bank statements on my rental property and submit those as evidence in trial even though my tax returns and rental statements shown that in fact I was telling the truth that my tenants paid for my rental property. I was financially injured by almost 20k and I paid Ms. Lauser almost 10k to represent and defend me. Did that happen, absolutely not. I hired another lawyer to correct her negligence and submitted those bank statements in a post-trial motion to vacate the original judgement of my rental property. Shasta County Court basically told me it was unfortunate that Ms. Lauser's misrepresentation resulted in this injury, but that ultimately, I was the one who hired her and it was too late since we already had a trial. In the end, I paid her almost 10k to misrepresent me and then lost almost another 20k because of her ineptitude of family law; thus my ex prevailed on her lie and was rewarded a good lump sum of cash. If that sounds like a great deal and you want the same experience as me, then hire her.
