This is BAD practice on any level! Completely ridiculous to schedule appointments if you can not respect your patients enough to not have them wait over an hour. So we were put in a room at 10:40. I complained to the nurse that if they couldn't stick to their appointment schedule they needed to not book so many patients this was ridiculous. The nurse went above and beyond to try to appease us and apologized to us many times. Then... came the complete demise of the day... The Doctor! Dr. McGrath. The most condescending/Jack Ass of a Dr I've ever met! Dr.McGrath had the balls to come into the room and without a hello began to tell us "I understand that you're not happy with the amount of time you waited and if you'd like to leave feel free to go if you don't like the wait time! You can go down to Jacksonville and be treated like a 2nd rate citizen and wait 2 hours to be seen! I'm the only Dr that here that takes SunShine Health and I'll take care of you, but you will wait! If you were to go to a restaurant you'd wait over an hour to get good food!" I'm sorry what's he smoking? #1 I would never wait an hour for a table. #2 IF I made a reservation at a restaurant and had a set time and arrived at that time and wasn't seated even in 30min. I would leave after complaining to management and give them a Yelp review such as this! The Dr then even after knowing my daughter is 31 weeks along seemed unconcerned with her pain and told her to go home to her other 4 and do hot/cold compresses for her contractions! This Dr is absolutely ill mannered and disrespectful! I'm usually pretty patient and easy going, but he needs to be reprimanded by someone for the treatment to us and the lack of respect to his patients to make them wait 1 hour and 40 in the waiting room. 30 min in the room.
