My parents furnace was going out so they called Comfort Masters and they came out promptly. While…read moretrying to get it fixed they found that it was releasing carbon monoxide in enough levels they had to shut the furnace off completely. So My parents had to install a new furnace. They were quoted a price and told what would be done and I checked in on line and it was in the right ball park. Then I check them with The BBB and in 19 years they have NO Complaints. So Far So Good-We went with them and they came out when they said they would and brought a crew of at least 7 people ( Not just a couple to take forever). As they worked they answered any questions we had and in a fun, pleasant many. As the Day went on they felt more like new friends that workers on a Job. At one point I saw a Branch hanging on the roof of the house and the tree and asked the tall guy if he would mind knocking the branch down and he did very friendly and not an Eye roll to be seen. Later he was on the roof doing some vent work and I asked him if he would kick down a few leaves on the roof and I was actually kidding but He did. I was so impressed with them all. I asked many questions and even had interesting conversations about different topics and they still got the job done in roughly 8 hours with a lunch break-btw online said that the job we had done usually takes 2 days. All was well and once they left with everything working great I actually missed them all. It was fun and never was an ackward experience. The next day we discovered the pilot light out on the water Heater and just assumed someone forgot to relight it-so i called them and they sent someone out to fix it. I wasn't sure what to expect because thats the way it usually is-I expected some rude guy that has to come out again etc-Just spoiled that way by so many. BUT a Guy appeared on time after being called to tell me he was on his way to our house and he greeted me with a smile. So far So Good. I showed him the heater and he fixed it in about 5 minutes. He was friendly and again answer any questions i asked without a single eye roll or rude response. Then I asked him about our thermostat and there not being a light on it and hard to see well. He came inside and fixed that as well in just a couple of minutes. He was so friendly and polite but he felt more like a friend than a worker. It was Amazing. They have spoiled me on Customer Service and respect. Well that is the Jist of our adventure and I will sing the Praises of COmfort Masters till the day I die-LOL-I absolutely Love the way they treated us and the Job they did. That is why I can excuse a small forgotten pilot light etc-That is No Big deal when you are treated wonderfully. This company installed a heat pump in June. They did not complete the job. I was told that they…read morewould return to finish securing the vent in the bedroom. The minimal amount of air was comint thru the vent. They never came back to complete the job. This month we had a cold morning so I turned the heat on. Cold air would be blown regardless of the temperature I set. I contacted another company to hopefully fix the issue. They came today and fixed the issue. The previous company set it so only cold air would be blown. They should have installed a new thermostat but instead they cut the wires attaching the new pump to the old (at least 15 years old)thermostat. They hooked it up so that it only blew cold air regardless of the temperature. There is also an issue with the sensor and a new one has to be ordered. The company that came to check the pump was fabulous. I actually have heat and cooling which makes me happy since I have a sick child. I really want to include the company's name that was kind enough to fit me in their busy schedule and address the issues but I need to get their approval first.
