I went to Dr. David Page 15 years ago as a college student. I probably hadn't been to a dentist…read morefor over 5 years when I went into his office. Since it was so long ago, I don't think a glowing review (which it completely would be) would be so relevant. Do know that I am very clear that my experience at his office in my early twenties made a huge impact on my commitment to my own oral health for the rest of my life. The review here is really from my husband. He is not so computer savvy so I said I would enter his comments for him. He just went to Dr. Page for the first time a few months ago and recently went back for another follow up. Here are his quotes: "He's a great dentist. The biggest thing for me is you only feel the first shot of novocaine and that's it. You really don't experience that very often at a dentist. He's a good people person and really cares about whether you are in pain or not. He explains everything that is going on very well so that you understand it. The staff is professional and everybody is really outstanding with what they do. If you have to go to a dentist- Dr. Page is the one!"

Also talked about my implant and she said she could put a crown on it, but just needed the records sent over. They took an X-ray and examined the implant. I called and had records sent and cancelled appts with prior dentist. Associated dentist confirmed they had everything they needed to do the crown. All set! Two weeks later I took the afternoon off (we are super busy right now) and spent an extra 1.5hrs to have the doc come in the room and ask me where the records are. Told her I confirmed last week her front desk has what they need. Found out I have to go back to old dentist to have him confirm the implant is finished because she doesn't have the right tools, and based on my X-ray she took at the last appt, the tooth isn't ready. She apologized and said she will get me in the following Friday if can see old dentist in between. There goes my Christmas trip to see my family in North Carolina--I will be at the dentist Christmas week. I said its okay, mistakes happen and I understand. Explained to old dentist that new dentist scheduled me for a crown they can't actually do. Old dentist gets me on the books the following Wed. the 26th. Call Associated back to reschedule and Jodie tells me she can't schedule me until I see old dentist. Unfortunately it is the end of the year and we are out of time so there is no way to reschedule the appointment. Explained to Jodie that I cancelled appts because they said they could do the crown, this was all intentionally scheduled to be before the end of the year, and can she at least schedule the appt, as the doc said she could. Jodie was less than apathetic. Told her I was disappointed in the service and asked if this was the status quo for them. She indicated it was, and when I said I should probably go to an office who can schedule appropriate appts, she sounded very happy and quickly hung up. I decided to go to a dentist office who is more responsible with their patient care. I'm a lawyer, and I don't recommend this office to anyone else who has a busy schedule, or doesn't have extra time to waste on pointless appointments, or minds paying $2250 out of pocket for a procedure that insurance would have covered, or canceling a Christmas trip, or a dental front desk that doesn't bother to apologize for all the trouble. (Just FYI-the hygienist Heidi was great. So sweet and kind. Highly recommend her if you only use the office for a cleaning)

Wonderful dentists. They are far and away the best dental clinic that I have ever been to. They are…read moreknowledgable, skilled and kind. I know people travel hours to go to this clinic and I can certainly understand why. In fact, now that I've moved to Rochester, I travel about an hour and 15 minutes to get to their clinic. Well worth the trip.
