I only go to their Bangor office, so that's all I can tell you about…read more I have been going there for a long time, now in their 3rd location on N. 11th Street, and even though there has been a lot of people that have come and gone (at the desk and aides in the room) they have all been very nice and professional. Drs. Perkins and Scalzo are great. Very friendly, easy to talk to and do nice work. I've only had one issue but this was 4 or 5 years ago (I'm guessing). When I was in the waiting room with several other people, we started talking about our appointment times - it was a rare time when things got backed up. There was a woman sitting there that said her appointment wasn't for another hour or two but she decided to come early. She actually wound up getting in before any of us with an appointment. I couldn't let that pass and had to ask what the point of having an appointment is if they were going to just let you come in and be seen whenever. I was definitely not alone in that thought process. But anyway, I think they got the point because as far as I know, it hasn't happened since.

For five long years, my daughter lived with nonstop stomach pain. We went from doctor to doctor,…read moresearching for answers, only to leave with frustration and no relief. It wasn't until her nutritionist recommended Dr. Garcia that everything finally changed. From the very first appointment, Dr. Garcia listened, cared, and took her pain seriously. He ordered detailed testing that no one else had considered, and we finally had answers. For the first time in years, we had hope. It has now been about five weeks since starting his dietary recommendations, and the transformation is nothing short of miraculous. My daughter has already lost 16 pounds, her anxiety has eased, her energy is coming back, and most importantly--her stomach pain is completely gone. She is like a brand-new child, and every day I see her thriving brings tears to my eyes. Dr. Garcia doesn't just treat symptoms--he treats the whole person with compassion and dedication. He truly cares for his patients, and it shows in every interaction. We owe him so much, and I will forever be grateful for what he has done for my daughter and our family. If you are exhausted from being dismissed by doctors who don't listen, I cannot recommend Dr. Garcia enough. If you are ready to fully trust and commit to his guidance, your life will be forever changed for the better--just like ours has been.

I recently visited [Dr Magdiel Garcia] I'm not sure why he calls himself Doctor when he is a Nurse…read morepractitioner ? I went there seeking help to lower my high calcium score. While I appreciate his willingness to conduct thorough testing, my overall experience was far from satisfactory. During my visit, I received an overwhelming number of supplement recommendations--over a million it seemed. It is stipulated in any search that an over whelming amount of supplements is NOT GOOD ! I do get because he is a nurse Practitioner he is limited to the amount of money he could make therefore all these supplements recommendations definitely supplement his income. Example: The 1st prescription was Plaque X specific to the high Calcium score which is what I originally went there for, which turned out to be an astonishing $7,000. Unfortunately, after following his protocol and undergoing another calcium score test, my results worsened instead of improving. He recommended a bowl test for stomach health which actually was $200 and he charged me $800. In supplements alone I spent about $700. Additionally, when I mentioned wanting to lose weight and discussed with him about taking some type of Semi glutted which is like Ozempic he decided to prescribe thyroid medication without a comprehensive evaluation. He felt my thyroid was low but it has always been low most of the time. This decision proved problematic; the medication caused severe spikes in my blood pressure & heart rate to go sky rocket that required hospitalization. Thankfully, once I stopped taking it, my condition returned to normal. While I believe he had good intentions in trying to help me achieve better health outcomes, the approach felt haphazard and overwhelming. Furthermore, the staff at his office not only lacked professionalism but also demonstrated a noticeable lack of empathy--especially his wife. Its all about money with the wife. Garcia would want to talk about something and she would come in and almost drag him out. Never mine Sunshine at the front desk. She always looks like she has a chip on her shoulder. In conclusion, while Magdiel Garcia may have valuable knowledge and intentions to assist patients like myself, it's crucial for him to adopt a more measured and patient-centered approach. I would caution others considering treatment with him based on my experiences. Good Luck !!!
