Who knew you could find the best fried chicken at a gas station convenient store?!…read more Ever since I can remember, we'd stopped at Dodges to fill up the gas tank. My brother and I always joked that they had chicken wings at a gas station. "How good could they be?" We'd always laugh. But then one time we were down south with husband and he commented on the fact that they sell fried chicken wings at a gas station. After passing it up several times driving back and forth between Leland and Greenville, my husband decided we had to stop and try it. Good thing we did! Best darned spicy fried chicken wings I've had, anywhere! Crispy, flavorful and spicy! Delicious combo! Too bad they don't have these out in California!

We stopped by here for a shake on our road trip. It was…read morearound 830 at night and they weren't very busy. This location has no drive thru which is frustrating. The Sonic app said Monday all shakes "any flavor, any size" were half off but when we ordered she said none of the speciality shakes including the red velvet that we ordered were part of the deal even though it showed it online. OK, since we already ordered we paid the full price for a large but the card reader wouldn't work and we tried two cards so again frustrating. Then the server brought out the shake and hands it to my husband and the lid wasn't on all the way and Red milkshake spilled all over his hands and jacket. She laughed then said she would get napkins while we sat there trying to contain the mess. She brought napkins but no offer to replace the spilled shake and then she continued to ask for payment from my husband as he is still cleaning up and covered. So anyway I paid and we left b/c by that time we were over it. $7+ for a messy shake and stained jacket (but the shake was tasty!) . Accidents happen but it wasn't handled well. And I wish Sonic would fix their deals so they cover all shakes as advertised.

I say no I did not order this, so they go around asking who ordered it. I pushed the red button to ask what is the holdup because everyone else around me has already gotten their order out besides me. Then, it connected to someone's headset and I heard everything that was said through their mic. They began to speak badly about customers, even throwing insults, frustrated, I drive off. I don't plan on coming back! I have gone here for years too! This was such a strange thing that happened but I could not believe what I was hearing. I have no idea who was speaking, but I hope they get fired.

But I was in the middle of nowhere in Louisiana and was hungry, so I figured what the heck. All I have to say is that it was DEee-licious! The chicken was crunchy and juicy. The bread was perfect. The sauce was tasty. And I don't believe I'm saying this, but in the freaking pickle was awesome! Overall, I would highly recommend it and it's totally worth the hype. And yes it's waaaay better than Chik-fil-A's chicken sandwich. Long was long (about 12 cars, but it moved quickly). Customer service was alright.

Due to staff changing so frequently because of poor management and extremely low wages and let's not forget the bias hiring process that has taken place inside this organization for years were they only hire mostly women with a few exceptions here and there. Why this business has been a Icon in and around the surrounding areas of the communities in which they serve they have repeatedly over the years refuse to hire, Train Staff and Promote Employees with excellent customer service why the food is great from time to time depending on changing of staff due to good people quitting and high turn overs, But Nevertheless this small town restaurant has forgotten that the customer comes first and in my opinion a great atmosphere and customer experience is just as important as good food. Bottom line is if you come here you will not be treated with respect and dignity you will be talked to as they see fit and higher up management will back the store management put in place. I say if people are not willing to treat you right take your money elsewhere and remind them who pay the bills!!!
