McDonald's on Rice Mine has rude staff. They have an older woman on staff that clearly does not need to be in customer service. She is rude and "tired" and take it out on good customers. Went to McDonald's on McFarland E. Got home and realized they gave me a regular quarter pounder and not a double as I ordered. Went back and just stated that they gave me the wrong burger and it was supposed to be double. I was ready to show them my mobil order and the sandwich I had but they never looked. As far as McDonald's goes the food at this location is about the same as most. It's not great food and there's not a lot of things I can eat on the menu, but the Filet-O-Fish and fries are consistent with most locations I've been too. Service was about average. Really, the biggest problem I experienced here was that it was very dirty inside the restaurant. The floors were so greasy that my feet were sliding even when I was standing. The tables were also sticky, but I think it might be because of how they were cleaning them, because I saw an employee cleaning tables and whatever they were using left a thick residue. The floors, however, looked and felt like they had only ever been cleaned with butter. They were that greasy. The kitchen looked dirty as well. If it had been up to me I probably wouldn't have come here in the first place, but the greasy floors and sticky tables definitely make me not want to come back. I cannot give this particular location a lower rating. I am fed up with being served salt-less fries, mis-made burgers, and COLD chicken nuggets. I, on many occasion, have asked for certain burgers with extra amounts of components only to find that there's less on there than what would be considered even normal. The service is also lacking, but I mainly attribute that to bad leadership at this particular location. Other locations in Tuscaloosa, while not perfect, will at least not have you rushing to open your bag of food to play Russian Roulette with did you get what you actually ordered or not. IF you can drive that extra 2 miles to visit a different location, please do. You'll be happier for it. read more
