Here's the thing, I haven't been inside a McDonald's in 5 years. I new that the buildings looked different but didn't know that there were changes in processes as well as inside functions. I had some gift cards from Christmas and decided to go in and get a drink, that should be an easy thing to do...NO, it wasn't. There is zero customer service required. The customer orders at a kiosk and an associate brings the order to the counter. The employees were having a full blown shouting match as I stood waiting for some assistance in placing my order. So why offer a menu when you do not plan on serving everything on the menu?! I came in at 10:55 p.m. they don't close until midnight and I ordered a large caramel ice coffee. They said that they did not have any and I asked them to make me an ice caramel macchiato which I knew only takes one espresso pod and some cream and they would not even make that for me! Not good not customer service at all I am sorely disappointed. I am a paying customer and should get what I asked for especially if it is on the menu. Been in line for over 40 goddamn minutes the cars at the speaker haven't moved at all in over 20 minutes I've witnessed no less than 2 dozen cars behind me leave because of the wait. Outrageous....Either fix it or fire everyone because this wait is totally inexcusable. You want $15 an hour but that doesn't mean make customers wait an hour to order. read more

Was in town to attend a funeral. On the way out of town went into the lobby to order & asked for 2 large half & half's & a large fry. Paid for the order, went to the restroom. Came back to being told they had no lemonade! How do you work there & not know this? The (in a bad mood) counter person asked what else I wanted...I got 2 sweet teas & left. I started to ask for all my money back but was in a hurry to get on the road & figured it would take them a couple hours to figure out how to do a price adjustment. Go to Taco Bell or KFC in Thomasville instead. This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. I wish I could give it zero stars. Headquarters need to come revamp it asap. There are always complaints about the quality of food and service. It is not going to be the greatest food because it is McDonalds, but I enjoy the chicken nuggets and burgers from other locations. Here the food is always thrown together literally. There will be missing items from your order or it will be wrong. This location is not clean and not an enjoyable experience at all. I used to get an ice cream or small fry in high school and it was fine. Now it has gone downhill. It is not the workers fault. They are overworked and not treated fairly. Their turnover rate is extremely high. I feel bad for anyone who works here. My whole family no longer goes to this McDonalds, because we have all been treated rudely and were very unhappy with the food. read more

most of the other reviews are really bad. in my opinion I think that the service is really good. Yes it might be slow at points but that's because the restaurant has a lot of people. I would say that you should just come at a certain time and get the best people with the best service. We come up here on the weekends and on breaks. Again just my opinion. read more

And she asked us what do we want before we even got to the window to order!And they closed a lane for what? Corona? That doesn't make sense to close a lane due to a virus. This place CONTINUES to have the absolute worst service of any restaurant in Clarke County. The workers are extremely rude, incompetent, and slow. I'm not sure what's so hard about pressing a button after someone orders an item without any changes, but they even get the order wrong after repeating it 3 or 4 times. They walk around on their phones and talking with each other, but just ignore customers. Management and owners need to get a grip on their employees. read more

12/2/18 approximately 9:23am three cars in front of me at the drive through. After a 10 min wait for a sausage McMuffin. I arrive at the first window and I'm greeted by, "what's your order". Then proceed to the pick up window where nothing is said to me. Just a sour look and a bag handed out the window. I politely said thank you and I get a blank look back.
