Order For Delivery And Get Robbed
Made an online order from a store that's a 2 mins drive if i drove and due to finishing work and not wanting to go back out for a walk and I chose to order in. After a 30 min wait for the order to arrive, it came stone cold from a 2 min drive. On calling to complain I was directed to Uber Eats the delivery company that is partnered up with McDonald's to chase down the problem, After a struggling conversation with someone I was not really able to understand I was informed that my order would be refunded. After hanging up and checking my accounts I then noticed I was charged a delivery fee again and I had an Email saying I was only getting the money back for the food and not the delivery so in total I was charged for delivery twice. After this, i chose to call McDonald's Customer service who refused to do anything in the matter than offer me some petty vouchers for a meal I could not eat and money that is being stolen from me. I will attempt to talk to uber eats again after I confirm the refund has been issued and I know the full about what has been stolen from me for a cold inedible meal.
