    Overview of downstairs

On the menu it gave a full description of the food at what would be recommended. The food was really good and filling and had stuff for the picky eaters too. Only negative is it's really greasy but that's what you would expect coming to beefy boys anyway. The service was great, everyone was so sweet. It was my dad's birthday and they offered us a free drink as well as singing happy birthday. The ambiance was brilliant, everywhere was decorated nicely and had music playing throughout the time we was there. The bathrooms was really clean as far as I could tell and there was plenty of areas to eat (including and area outside). Really recommend!

As an American tourist, this American themed restaurant reminded me of home. Starting with staff, they were helpful and provided speedy service. The variety of burgers that were offered was a little overwhelming, but all of at the table were incredibly satisfied. Next time I'm visiting Herefordshire, I will make a stop!

    Nice place

Great place there's a big selection of burgers iv been here at least 10 times and the food is delicious and the inside is cool and staff are really nice

The "Rude Boy" Burger - a New Mexican style burger with roasted green chiles, jalapeño salsa, and Monterrey Jack cheese

Beefy Boys is another burger place in the town of Hereford using local Hereford beef as its feature item and they do it about as good as anybody else! They have a ton of burger options on their menu and they feature additional specials that are incredibly delicious! I had the "Rude Boy" burger which is their take on a classic New Mexican burger featuring roasted green chiles, jalapeno salsa, Monterrey jack cheese, and deep-fried cheese wrapped pepper on top. It was insanely good! My wife had the Blue Boy burger which came with an incredible bleu cheese mayo that was so tasty! We also had their "Millionaire Fries" which are fried in truffle oil, topped with fresh grated parmesan, and served with a chipotle mayo. Those things were as good as it gets! So if you're in town hanging out at the Old Market or near the city center, I recommend popping in to Beefy Boys to enjoy a lunch or a dinner!

This is arguably one of the best burgers I've had, and to find this in small town Hereford, England is nothing short of amazing! The beef patty is tender, decadent, and full of flavor. I would've like less mayo (the English seem to like putting mayonnaise on everything!), the patty has so much flavor that it'd totally stand on its own without sauces. The place always looks packed, reservations are for large parties only, but it's worth the wait. Apparently the Beefy Boys won some sort of international burger contest in Las Vegas. The Brits are upping their burger game y'all, I'm still an In-n-Out fan for life tho ;)

Kieron C & Chris P definitely enjoyed the meal and 'Beefy Boys' experience.

In regards to a restaurant that specialises in burgers and finger food so to speak, I was delightfully impressed with the presentation and texture of my meal. The atmosphere was non chaotic and delightfully casual that really suited the style of restaurant 'The Beefy Boys' aims for. The staff are very pleasant and even assist customers who have to wait for a seat inside by offering warm areas for people to sit whilst they wait for a table availability. The restaurant is relatively small on the inside but has an upstairs that is only an arms length away from the kitchen. I really hope to see 'The Beefy Boys' develop into a franchise and open multiple stores to grow the company and its already successful brand.

Conveniently located in the middle of Hereford City centre, Saxty's is the place to come for a relaxing drink, meal or tea/coffee after a hard morning/afternoon shopping, and is a popular meeting place to catch up with friends at any time. It's 'up-market' reputation is reflected in it's quality ambiance, comfortable seating with sofa's & attractive decor. A smart dress code is strictly adhered to. At night Saxty's comes into it's own with its cool DJ music and late bars, and weekends are club nights, open until 3.00am. It has a fabulous smart restaurant for evening dining which is especially popular for functions, parties and groups, and also an impressive, full list of both wine & champagne, which should keep everyone happy! A heated patio garden with bar & BBQ in the summer completes the picture. Friendly attentive staff, reasonable prices and a great atmosphere will ensure an enjoyable experience at this popular venue.

We just happened to call in for coffee one Sunday morning and obviously got the tired staff from the night before. The atmosphere was dull and even though we tried to be bright and friendly we didn't raise a smile or anything that resembled a welcome. I understand from our younger friends and relatives that it's one of 'The' places to go whatever your age but maybe in our mid 60's we're just a bit too over the hill for them. We won't be going again and in all honesty they won't even notice we're not there.

At this time it pulls in office workers and other up-standing member of society sorts. They have a good lunch menu, and the place could pass as a reasonably high end restaurant. Things degenerate (or improve, depending on your point of view) as night draws in. Cosies is also a night club and dubstep, afrobeat, and hip-hop nights, along with various others. Very cool in the evenings, this is about a million miles from Syndicate et al. not so far away in the centre. The different between the its night and day time faces is quite a contrast and makes Cosies worth two visits. Down in a basement, it has a cosy feel to match its name. The best time to vist in the day time is when its a bit cold and damp. During the evening just make sure to get there early to avoid disappointment.

Cosies is another place to the trend, situated in the basement of one of the grand Georgian houses in St Pauls' Portland Square. It's open all day and night, catering to the office workers of the square in the daytime, and turning into one of Bristol's in-the-know clubs as night falls. Some of the best djs can be found playing here, spanning genres from Dub and Reggae to Drum'n'Bass and hip hop. The seats outside, carved out beneath the pavement, are maybe where the place gets its name from, as there's a really great 'cosy' atmosphere in one of those seating hubs. As a result, it makes for quite a smokers paradise, and there's definitely a hint of a few blind eyes being turned. Walking past in the day there's always a board offering some sort of exotic food (always below a fiver, so good value), proving a real temptation to descend the rickety stairs mid-afternoon. Also, there's late evening grub on offer to help the pints go down, the last time I was there goat curry was being sold around 11. You might have to pay a few pounds to get in on a weekend, but I'd safely guarantee you'll have a night worth remembering.
