I haven't been to this McDonald's in 18 years due to lack of gluten free. This morning I went through the drive through & ordered a senior coffee & and egg mcmuffin to deliver to a shut in. The app & kiosk make me enraged. For one, if you don't use the app, you get completely ripped off on price. Then if you do use the app it takes several minutes to order rather than the 5 seconds it takes to speak your order the normal way. Also, if you want to walk in and place an order, you pretty much cant. The entire crew will ignore you, then you're forced to use the kiosk which takes much longer and is annoying. Then, whether you order on kiosk or app, theres glitches all the time wehre your order gets lost. read more

My older sister drove me to the Swartz Creek McDonald's today to celebrate our yearly tradition of getting a Shamrock Shake on St. Patrick's day. We placed our order at the speaker, and then drove to the first window to pay. There, we were told that they didn't have shakes by an unqualified elderly woman even though the man at the speaker took our order. We thanked her, and drove off, opting to try Arby's instead. As we drove, we saw two shakes waiting for us at the pick up window. Right in front of our faces, across the street, we saw the shakes we ordered being given away as we had to go somewhere else. I felt that this was inappropriate and discriminatory towards Irish Catholic people. Arby's always comes in clutch, McDonalds hates to see a girlboss girlbossing! read more

I can understand the lack of employees and some long times for food. But when I pulled into here for a pick up order both drive through lanes were booked almost to the road. So I opted for curbside pick up. After I counted the 15th car go by while I sat in a parking space I went inside to get a refund. This location was fully staffed and to the point the girl that was supposed to bring my food to my vehicle passed by me and I mentioned I was canceling my order. She then went into the kitchen and offer to anyone the smoothie to anyone who wanted it. They aren't busy enough to take free food but to busy to serve curbside. They might as well cancel curbside at this location cause it's pointless and many other people will get served before you while you wait at curbside. read more

Service was terrible. Manager was rude, employee was rude. A group of male teenagers were waiting for their order for 30 minutes They just ordered 5 drinks. When they inquired about their order the manager said they were rude with the way they inquired about their order. I was right behind them. They were not rude or loud or bad talking. The inside service is terrible! I placed a mobile order and accidentally chose pick-up inside. So, inside I go. I waited at the mobile order window for 5 minutes.......ghost town. I moved to the order window.........ghost town. I had to lean over the counter and wave to get a response from anyone. An employee finally sauntered over and I gave my mobile number. Mind you I had already been in the restaurant for ten minutes, I was informed my order was just now being prepped. This McDonalds deserves NO stars!!! I Went to McDonald's on at Miller Rd & Elm Street in Flint around 9:30am on Friday 08/05. The drive thru line was long and way to the road so I went inside and ordered off the self order machine because the cash register line was long. I understand it takes time to fill all the orders but when the drive thru line was taken care of and everyone gone and the people inside that had to wait in line to order including the 5 people that came while I was waiting for my order were gone with their orders of food and I was still WAITING for my 1 McGriddle and large Coke!!!! COME ON MCDonalds get it right !!! TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE WHO WAITED FOREVER instead of filling orders that were ordered way after me!!! I won't return to this McDonalds again. My boyfriend and I sat in the drive -thru for 15-20 minutes and the line moved maybe 3 feet. the service is beyond slow especially at night, the food is usually cold and tastes like it has been sitting out for the past 2 hours. I do not recommend this McDonald's it is awful. read more

This location serves the same food that every other McDonald's does. It is expected. We did not like the constant, way over the top of two different enployees kept asking to fill our coffee, remove our trash, and wipe our noses!! Fast if you order at the counter, but slow as hell if you are in a hurry and using the drive-through lanes. Every time they mess up my order because drive through employees can't manage how the double drive up lanes are supposed to merge. I went through drive-through on the way back to my house and I asked for a Flurry and Big Mac and they gave me a Quarter Pounder Meal with Iced Tea. Nice try. Get it right next time. Went to Mcdonalds to get dinner for grandbabies. Ordered 2 happy meals with chicken nuggets another one with plain hamburger. Got home got 2 reg hamburger meals and 1 chicken nuggets meal. It is sad that this is the closest McDonald's to my house so that is the only reason why I come here. Yeah, sure, it is in a great spot right off of the highway and it has the double lanes. But, what good is all of that when the service is the worst out of any McDonald's I've been to. They are slow, orders are normally made wrong and they are always "out of stuff". Very busy all day every day pretty much so expect a wait. They move at a decent pace to get through the lines but they never look like they are in any hurry no matter how bad they are backed up. Food is average to below average for McDonalds. Sandwiches are tossed together with the top bun always an inch or two off from the bottom bun and the contents somewhere in the middle, good luck trying to eat in the car without napkins. Fries are not even close to full and frequently cold even when they are busy (I have no idea how they manage that) and chicken nuggets are usually a bit overdone and usually cold too. Drinks aren't usually too bad, sometimes they don't do that final smack of the blender to get the last two inches of your smoothie in your cup but soft drinks are fine. Had a couple bad experiences with them in the past (fuzzy grapes in a fruit salad and burgers that were still cold and pink) but those seemed to have improved. It's the closest McDs to my house so I stop there quite a bit but if I have a choice between stopping at another one of the way home from somewhere else or stopping at this one I'll stop at any other one in a heartbeat. read more
