The cocktail menu is extensive, and you will need a while to browse through it to find your medicine of choice. I chose a classic dirty Martini. The martini was ok. I would have liked it a bit more "dirty" and it only had one olive (I like mine with three massive blue cheese stuffed olives - yes, I am part american) but I am sure that had I asked for a bit more olive juice and a few more olives, they would have obliged. The food menu is short and to the point, this makes decision making easy! I have now tried two burgers off the menu and both have been FANTASTIC... and I am picky! The meat was perfectly cooked and juicy and the accoutrements were perfect. This combined with the really warm and intimate feel of the place has made it my new favorite hang-out. Only thing missing... the bookcase hiding the stairwell to this new Aarau Speakeasy!
