On the way to Poland, decided to stop at this McDonald's, based upon their sign which is quite visible from the autobahn.
The architecture of this place is really interesting, including room semi-dividers of lath-style wood, and vivid wall colors. I quickly realized that this McDonald's seems to be celebrating kindergarten children, or at least very young kids.
My trip to the toilets revealed doors with gigantic stick-figures drawn depicting each of the two genders. Although the drawings were child-like, they were far too large to be drawn by a child. I prefer the traditional gender markings, anyway.
My Big Mac was either the best one I have ever had in my life, or perhaps I was just famished.
I noticed the McCafe area was a stand-alone coffee/pastry cabinet, complete with all the coffee paraphernalia and even a uniformed barista. One could order everything from smooth black coffee to a frothy white one, and just about everything in between. I'm a fan. read more
