So we decided to try this burger place this past weekend. It was a cloudy Saturday evening (around…read more6:30pm) so it wasn't busy. we actually missed the crowd (which was good, cause we got to get a table inside for the 7 of us. If you plan to go with a big group, there is seating outside (just hope for good weather). Inside, there are only seats for 10 people max (and its tight).
so the burger: like Beco do Hamburger, they have two types of burgers: Hells Burger (made of beef rib meat patty) and Fifty-Fifty (half beef rib and half smoked bacon patty). I had the Fifty-Fifty and it was good. Had a bacon crust and a good serving, with melted cheese on top. if you are a fan of lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions and other garnish on your burger, this isn't the place for you. their burgers are simple and straight forward. They have two types of sauces ( Voodoo Barbecue and So Hot Its stupid), we didn't really see a big difference between the two sauces, and their Hot sauce, isn't really spicy (according to my spicy food addict friends).
Their fries are traditional simple fries (on the thicker end, not skinny ones like McDonalds) but good. They had a special 2 for 1 beer special for the Brooklyn Stouts.
Overall it was a good experience. If I am in the area and craving a burger, I'd probably stop by. But, is it a top favorite? I'd say I prefer the Beco do Hamburger ones better. But, go to Hells and give them a try!
