My wife and I are always intrigued by McDonald's in other countries (we come from the United States) because there's always some unique or different from it compared to our McDonald's we have back in the U.S. What really stood out to us was the macaroons. 1 for .90 Euro or 6 for 4.50 Euro. We honestly weren't expecting much because come on, it's McDonald's and it's not going to be amazing it'll probably just be okay. Wrong!!! We were so wrong. We ordered two macaroons, mixed fruit and a pastchio and we were amazed. These were just as good as the expensive, fancy, well-known places that you'll get your macaroons. So afte we had these two, we had to order 6 more for 4.50 Euro. So do yourself a favor and just order 6 in the beginning and save. The customer service was friendly. I would come back to this McDonald's if I were in the area.

Even though the line is long, you can get your meal quickly because the team works very fast and efficiently. The spot has limited seating so most people eat outside, either standing up or sitting on the curb. Menu is limited to 6 options and everything is handmade, so you can't go wrong here. The noodles have a nice, thick, chewy texture and come with plenty of sauce. Only downside for me was that most dishes didn't come with meat and I usually like to have a little with each meal.

Our local guide picked this restaurant which she said was "like" their fast food. But what it was…read morereally like was wood-fired stove that made bread that was like two big slices of pizza which is used to hold your sandwich ingredients; I ordered sausage (locally made and famous for) and fresh cooked spinach; I loved my huge sandwich! Looking at the menu/placemat the sandwich was 5€ and wine was .20 or 20 cents...their brand wine! If we were traveling on our own we may have never found this restaurant! I thought mine was delicious-others ordered prosuiccito ham/cheese, roasted veggies only, cheese alone...seemed to enjoy!
