The menu is your typical American style restaurant, burgers, Philly cheese steaks, hot dogs, fries and chicken wings. I opted for the Philly cheese steak and some fries. This is where it goes wrong a bit, the bread was cheap cheap cheap, really fluffy and over dry and breaking up, I'd go so far as to say it may have been day old bread.... The steak was tough and overlooked but the flavour itself was quite nice. The chips were good and I was given a bit pit of Mayo. My waitress was a wee star, I just thought she was brilliant at her job and she gave brilliant customer service and she's the reason for 3 rather than 2 stars, I would have given 4 but I want to give them something to work towards, as the food must be as good as the customer service. I would return again but would have no hesitation sending back if I had the same bread issues again. They should really think of getting a local baker to produce their bread rather than buying bulk from the catering supplier.

My friends pasta was covered in pepper corns which he kept getting loads in his mouth and hated the taste. Had I not popped into Mumbles' Pilot Inn - a traditional English Pub with a great selection of IPAs…read more- I'd be a lot less informed. It was here, sitting at the bar, that I learned from an English "futbol" lover that "American baseball is the most boring sport ever". From another patron I learned that his visit to America included staying at the same Las Vegas hotel at the same time that a gunman opened fire on a concert crowd below taking 58 innocent lives. This gentleman understandably cut short his Vegas visit and flew to Florida concurrent with the arrival of Hurricane Nate. Welcome to America! So, while the patrons of Pilot Inn might not have great admiration for America - the country - they were friendly and fun towards Americans - the people... me. I happened to remark on a certain IPA or two that the Pilot Inn features. I'd tried these at another place (BeerRiff in Swansea) days earlier. Thus I learned that the two places are under the same ownership. Both are fun and both are worth a visit. I enjoyed the Pilot Inn and its people. Both left upon me a fully positive impression.
