We ordered through the McDonald's app like we've done plenty of times before. My husband went to pick it up, something he has successfully done multiple times without needing my phone. This time it was suddenly a huge issue. They said they couldn't find our order in the system. Management came out and told him he needed to physically have the phone that placed the order, which has never been required before. The tone was rude and dismissive for no real reason. My husband didn't argue. He simply asked if he could just place a new order since he was already at the payment window. They told him no and instructed him to go back around the drive thru and order again at the menu speaker. At that point, it had already been about 30 minutes since he first arrived. We ended up just leaving. What makes this worse is that this is the same location we tried to go to the day before. When we pulled up to the menu speaker, an employee abruptly said "we're not taking orders at this time" and immediately cut off the connection. I understand it was Christmas Eve, but the way it was handled was rude and unprofessional. Between both experiences, this location has left a really bad impression. Poor communication, inconsistent policies, and unnecessary attitude. We won't be returning to this McDonald's. read more

My mom and I went to grab something quick after work late at night. First off, it took almost 10 minutes just to place our order. While we waited, another car pulled up to the second speaker and got helped immediately, which was frustrating. We had to say "hello" multiple times before anyone responded. The little girl taking our order kept rushing us, asking "is that all?" even though we'd barely ordered anything. She told us to pull up without giving a total, and her tone was rude. Oh my. They brought back the Mighty Wings. Curiosity got the best of me, and that is what I ordered. The wings are too spicy, too fatty, too bready, and too crunchy for my taste. The wings aren't terrible, but it could use more work. IF I were to order these wings again, I would only order 3 instead of the 5 I ordered. You can also order 10, if you are that bold. Yeah, no. I've worked fast food before. Super simple. Or evidently not so much anymore? I do not know. Came for the new bacon cheese fries and the new McFlurry. The McFlurry was good, I guess, not sure how it is from other McDonalds. Maybe it is supposed to be better, but as for the fries I got a pump of cheese. Literally, one pump of cheese. I say to myself okay, maybe it is supposed to be like that but maybe not, so I send a tweet out to McDonald's. The apologize and provide me with a link to file a complaint. I'm not complaining, I legitimately wanted to know because I don't know maybe that is how it is supposed to be, so I submit my complaint and about a day or two days later Janet from the store contacts me. Not sure if she is the store manager or what but she is a manager of some form. She apologized, offers to remake my order just come on through the drive through let them know your name we will take great care of you. Only reason I am giving two stars is because she called. We came in at a fairly slow time - the employees were goofing off in the drive-through order area and we stood at the register for several minutes and they ignored us. I waved at them . . . they still ignored us. We can take a hint. We left. They kept on laughing and joking. The final straw, so to speak . . . as we left we noticed a sheet of paper taped to the door that said "we care about our customers - if you have a problem call us - " The number was a non-working number. I arrived at the store at 11:29 and left at 12:04 . While sitting in the drive-thru line for 30 minutes, The associate working at the window skipped over me and helped the person in the other lane that arrived after I did. I waited for her to come to the speaker to take my order, but she never did. So I drove to the window to let her know that she was skipping over me, and the associate accused me of jumping in line and refused to serve me. She told me that I had to get back in the drive-thru line. I refused to get back in line. And I wasn't leaving the window without my order. After all of that, the McFlurry Machine was shut down. She proceeded to chase my father out of McDonald's with his grandchildren and "spit" towards him because he informed her not to speak badly in the presence of the kids. I really wasn't surprised that this store gets 1.5 stars out of 5. It is by far THE worst McDonalds store I have ever frequented. Unfortunately, it is the closest store to my house. But I am done with this place after today. So my drive-thru total was $11.84. I dug out 3 quarters and a dime and handed them to the cashier with my $20 dollar bill. She dropped the dime as I handed it to her. Being the nice guy that I am, I opened my car door and retrieved the dime that SHE dropped. But while I was doing so, she closed out my sale, crediting me only for the $20.75 that she managed NOT to drop. I handed her the dime, WHICH SHE TOOK, and she closed her window. She stood there for the better part of a minute, looking a bit baffled behind the glass before opening the window and handing me $8.90 change. I looked at, a bit dumbfounded, and told her my change was $9.01. She said, "Sorry, I closed out the register before you gave me the dime." I AM DEAD SERIOUS! Now I realize that it IS only a freaking dime but principles still matter. I have NEVER had anyone in ANY drive-thru ever drop my change and then refuse to count it. She didn't give me back the dime and she WOULDN'T take back the $ .90 and give me my dollar. So I asked to speak to her manager. She balked. So I DEMANDED to speak to her manager. When she realized I was not going to leave, she said the manager wanted me to pull up to the next window. When I got there, the guy handed me my food and waited for me to drive away. I told him the manager was supposed to meet me here. She eventually comes to the window and proceeds to tell me that, technically, the cashier was correct, her drawer could have been $ .10 short if she gave me $9.01. I am not kidding here, people. And this woman is a MANAGER. Usually the people at this store are merely rude or, at best, indifferent. This is the first time that ABJECT STUPIDITY was the issue. I was rang up as a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I also notice that the pricing you guys have on the drive thru does NOT match the pricing that they ring you up at the window. Don't show up here in the drive thru past 12 at night till 8 am they will magically "not be taking orders at this time". They also lock the doors so you can not go inside to order.
