I was in the area and decided the sweet tooth needed filling so I got in the the drive thru and looked at cookie options. There was a single cookie, three cookies and lastly a dozen box, I believe that's what it is called. I figured why not the the box of cookies lol. Price wise it certainly made more sense especially since I planned on sharing with my toddler and husband. By the way, I stand corrected it is called a cookie tote for accuracy. 9 minutes ago The 11:30am shift was very customer service friendly! I've been a traveling, trainer in serving and customer service. I've been back in Memphis for one month and have visited this McDonalds multiple times being right across the street from my hotel. The morning service especially today.. 2/23/2021 was perfect. I was just there two days before at literally 3pm and was told the inside was closed. "With an attitude.!!" And the doors weren't locked and had to remind them to do so, and was told by cooks and front desk plus a manager that it doesn't matter the inside is closed.!? Even though restaurants are open at 50%.... Again, I want to say the morning shift on this day went above and beyond for customer service. I wish I knew their names. I'll be here, another week and will find out. Thank you ladies for being better than what surrounds you. The store hours is 24h but when I got here like around midnight nobody was responsible. Although, someone was inside and it's seem they're working. I understand that they're short staff but this is too much. They should not open late at night if they couldn't find anyone. I went to this location at 1610 Sycamore Ave on Sept. 27th, this past Friday around 10:00-10:15 a.m. that morning. I went inside to order food for inside and saw a female worker yelling at another female worker with short red hair. I couldn't catch what the issue was about, but it was still unprofessional because it was where customers and other workers could see/hear it. That's not even the worst part of it though. The manager on duty, Mr. Milton, came out to see what the issue was but instead of pulling the females to the office to see what's going on or who started it, this one didn't. He wanted to see what the issue was in front of everyone, customers and other employees. After Mr. Milton felt he heard enough, they both started belittling the red-haired female employee together (still in front of customers and other employees) by calling her a liar because "she always has excuses for everything". She was only trying to tell her side of the story like he asked but I felt like he didn't want to hear it because he kept cutting her off, they both were. Mr. Milton decided to pull out his phone and start recording the employee when she got visibly upset/crying when he kept calling her a liar in front of the whole restaurant. She had every right to because he wouldn't listen to her side, they were both embarrassing her in front of everyone, he's recording her to make a mockery of her, and continuously calling her a liar. When she started crying, he then started calling her crazy and I know that didn't help the humiliation she was feeling. After I got my food, everything seemed to have calm down but, that's when I noticed Mr. Milton going around to every employee (every single one) showing them the video he recorded on his phone of the whole incident, of the red-haired female employee crying. He was cracking jokes about her and laughing about it. Calling her crazy to all of the employees, all because she got embarrassed and started crying. I know she heard him and saw him while she was working, everyone could. When I say he went to every employee, he went to every cashier, food maker, etc., showed every single one the video of her crying from embarrassment and talking bad to them about her. I've been in the work industry for years, but I have never seen such poor and unprofessionalism from management in all of my life. Is this what McDonald's allowing their management to do or get away with? Calling their employee crazy, a liar (without listening to the whole story from both employees, not just one and cut the one he doesn't like off and continue talking over her so she can't get a word in), recording her with his own personal cellphone to make a mockery of her, embarrassing her in front of the whole restaurant, belittling her, then going to every single employee cashier, food makers, etc., to talk so bad about her and laughing at her while watching the video with them of her crying. I'm hoping others see this and choose to boycott McDonalds due to McDonald's allowing Mr. Milton to continue to work there when he doesn't know how to be professional, he bullies and harasses employees by calling them names in front of everyone, and they allow Mr. Milton to treat his employees with no respect at all. If he shown the video of her crying that's on his own personal cellphone to mock her and making fun of her to all of the employees that was there in the morning that day, I'm sure he's shown the rest of the other employees that came in for the afternoon shift or on days she was off that video to make fun of her to them, as well. I feel so bad for the red-haired female employee that had to put up with that harassment from her manager on the morning of Friday, Sept. 27th. Mr. Milton is nothing but a BULLY, HARASSER, UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER, LIKES TO MAKE FUN OF HIS EMPLOYEES FOR ALL TO HEAR AND A BELITTLING MANAGER. HOW HE GOT INTO MANAGEMENT I HAVE NO CLUE!!!! IF HE'S NOT CAREFUL, HE COULD SERIOUSLY CATCH A CHARGE FOR THE AMOUNT AND LEVEL OF BULLYING AND HARRASSING HE BESTOYS ONTO HIS EMPLOYEES!!! Since my last review was so rudely hidden as not recommended, I will post it again with hopes other customers will run from this location. This place is an absolute joke, an atrocity that can't even come slightly close to meeting my already sub-par standards for a fast food chain, I have given the McDonald's on Sycamore View chance, after chance, after chance, but the one and only thing they are ALWAYS consistent on is taking their precious time and screwing up my order. The wait time is absolutely inexcusable, you will wait in line minimum 15 minutes every time, and it does not matter the time of day, if you're the first car in line or the last. One time I timed myself from the moment I pulled to the drive thru until my food was handed to me, I ordered one burger, that was all, in total I spent 19 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I left, and I was the only person in line! They get my order wrong every damn time, one time I again ordered a burger and fries, I was given two fish sandwiches! I had to wait an additional 10 minutes after already waiting 10 minutes for the wrong order. The customer service here is unacceptable, I don't expect much from McDonald's employees on the lines of how they treat customers but you will be lucky if, expect for the person that took your order, says a word to you, consider yourself especially lucky if they make eye contact with you. Tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back, I work nights and went on a food run for other coworkers and myself, I ordered four double cheese burgers, one with just cheese, pickle, and ketchup, two large fries, and a large coke, everything was right on the screen as well as on the receipt I received. Can you guess how long I waited to get my food? That's right 15 minutes, the guy working the window reached his hand out and DROPPED THE FOOD IN MY LAP! Then closed the window! He never said a word, I looked in the bag but it was dark out and I'm sure my coworkers didn't want my hands all over their food and everything seemed to be in order so I left, when I got back to work, I was missing the special order burger, already late coming back I drove up there, waited in line, then waited another 10 minutes to get the burger they forgot to put in my bag, I looked before leaving and of course it was STILL wrong, at this time I was almost half an hour late coming back from my lunch and did not feel like dealing with these incompetent morons any longer, so I left. It's no fail, I'm always missing fries, a sandwich, given the wrong size, the wrong drink... This visit, my son's happy meal cheeseburger was forgotten. Just completely gone. After being RUSHED through my order (I swear the girl kept cutting me off, and kept asking "you done yet" I ordered 2 hot and spicys, 2 mcdoubles, and the happy meal, which apparently took too long for her... she was moving so fasthat she nearly flung my debit card out of the drive thru window, then at the next window I sat for no less than 8 minutes, watching cars pile up behind me.
