I placed my order in the drive thru tonight at approx 6:10 pm. They didn't have much traffic so I paid (almost $35.00) then asked to pull around and it would be brought out to me. There I sat and waited, no one was ever behind me. Just me waiting. At 6:27 I walked back inside and asked about my order. There it was on the counter, everything was cold. He seemed to be perfectly fine giving it to me. I was not fine with it and was either getting a refund or new food, They recooked my order amazingly fast except they didn't put any cheese on the QP w/cheese, one of my 2 Double Filet of Fish sandwich's was undercooked, it was still juicy. So, for my $35.00 I was made to feel unappreciated and disrespected. I was able to actually eat a McRib sandwich and 1 dbl filet of fish. My original order was: 1 McRib Sandwich 1 Quarter Pounder w/cheese 2 Double Filet of Fish Sandwich's 1 Large order of Fries The parking lot is definitely in need of some attention. This McDonald's is bit of a local legend for how infamous its service, staff and overall experience is. It stays in business by shear will and the luck of its proximity to two major State Highways and the State Capital. Everyone in the Tristate area who travels moderately has most likely been by or in this McDonalds at some point in the last 18-24 months. The Management isn't great and explains the constant changing crew of employees. There are very few long term employees at this location. The quality and speed of service is bad. You will either be stuck in line in the drive through or lobby or parked in the mobile spaces waiting for your order. The ice cream machines are almost always "down for repair" and the story always changes depending on who you ask. Complaining to corporate or local management does nothing. The inside is ok. No ketchup to be found except behind the counter. The bathroom is always rough and you have to go by the employee break table which is chaotic sometimes depending who is on shift or who is on break. read more

I went there today ordered a dr pepper and they try handing me a clear liquid saying it's Dr pepper and there was nothing wrong with it, then I asked for a straw and they shut the window on me, so I went in to show them the soda and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it and I threw the soda online the trash. Don't stop at this location. SERIOUSLY. Corporate should burn this store to the ground. This is the town we meet for custody exchange so we have had the unfortunate experience of using this location several times over several years. This isn't a one off. It's always horrid. The floors are covered in putrid puddles of rotting water. The employees are zombies. Your food will be incorrect. You will wait a very long time. Drive thru used to be slightly better but they now will just pull your car into a random spot and then when food finally comes out, one of the zombies will slowly walk around asking each car if it's your food. They will forget part of the order. Good luck getting it after that. I waited AN HOUR the other day - not even lunch rush - for a happy meal and a s'mores McFlurry. I ordered 20 minutes before I got there because I know what to expect. I pulled up and sat in the spot after confirming my arrival, and spent the next 35 minutes watching the zombies direct traffic and play guessing games. The guy finally brings me the happy meal - no McFlurry. I told him. He said "uhhhhh.... You want a McFlurry?" I said "yeah, that's why I ordered and paid for a McFlurry - because I wanted it." He just turns around and slowly zombie crawls back into the store. I watch him stroll around the parking lot with four more orders after that. Then he finally comes back out with a McFlurry and another order, carries it around with him while he asks all of the cars if it's their order, finally hands the food off, and stumbles over with an Oreo McFlurry. I said "dude it was a smores McFlurry." He says "oh... it was a s'mores McFlurry?" I said "yeah that's what I ordered and that's what was on the receipt and that's what was on the screen. By the way it has been 50 minutes since I arrived and I still don't have my order. This is ridiculous." He just turns around and stumbles back in. He came out a few minutes later with another order, no McFlurry. I got my child out of her car seat and walked inside, almost slipping and falling on a puddle of rancid liquid in the doorway. There is a line of people waiting at the register. I told them all how long it's been and what was happening and urged them to eat somewhere else. A guy at a table shouted that he'd been waiting inside for 25 minutes before somebody took his order and he's been waiting forever for food. Everybody walked out. So then I yell back to get some attention and a "manager" asks me what I need. I recapped the story. She said in a pissy tone "we don't have mcflurries right now. We're out." I said "bullshjt! First of all, why would you keep me waiting out there for an hour if you were out of the food I ordered instead of telling me? But you're not out because I was already brought an incorrect McFlurry!" She says "oh you were?" The zombie stumbled by at that time and I pointed to him and said "yeah this guy brought me an Oreo McFlurry ages ago. I've been here for an hour. He brought me food without the McFlurry and then brought the wrong McFlurry nearly 20 minutes later." She says to the zombie "make her the correct McFlurry." He slowly walks over and grabs the unopened bag of smores mixing and slowly disappears. I wait for another 8 minutes in that store. I finally yell back "I worked at McDonald's for five years and I'm about to come back there and make my own McFlurry if your staff is unable to do so." He comes around the corner and mixes the McFlurry and hands it to me. This whole time, there was never a "sorry" or an ounce of urgency. But there never has been in previous situations. I am a calm collected person and I understand fast food and shitty customers - this isn't that. This is a store full of people that almost seem to want to piss you off. They don't want to work. They are lazy slobs, every last one of them. The managers should be jailed for what they let happen at this location. Every once in a while, a good employee would be there, and then we'd never see them again. Burn this location to the ground. It's pathetic. read more

I used to work here, Why I left? It was a horrible place, I was constantly yelled at my customers for the mistakes that the cooks made . A cook forgot a patty on a simple hamburger, It was two pieces of bread and nothing else. The bathroom is CRAWLING with maggots, both men and woman's bathroom and the mangers expect me to get on me hands and knees to clean it? Nope. I work my 12$ worth and that does not including cleaning up maggots. I was yelled at because a manger said that "the drive through is more important then front desk" and the customer was right there. I was always on the front desk even when NO customers come inside, so I had to clean, eventually you clean so much there's nothing left to clean. Currently the ice cream machine works- they just don't have spoons and haven't ordered any so your mcflurry will not get mixed. Here's a list of everything else they ran out of during my 4 months working there; Napkins Straws Spoons Soda Ice Tea Lids breakfast burritos Bacon lettuce onions Lids Apple juice apples and probably more that I've forgotten. when this was out, they didn't tell people to not order it, they were told after they had already ordered and payed, and waiting for there order. I always worked to front desk and I was the nicest one there, I cared about customers and I woudl warn you when there was no food. Which I would sometimes get in trouble for. Save the hassle! To start off with there isn't a 0 star. Cause that's what I would give them one for their incapability of getting an order right and 2. The manager on duty at 5 PM if. I had ever acted the way she acted with me with a customer. I would lose my job. The uncaring part of her reaction to my food was wrong and I did not get it was. What do you want it now and then? Only getting 1 star as I had to leave a star to give review. I am not looking forward to AI employees, but sad thing is they couldn't be worse than what I experienced at this McDonald's. I don't frequent McDonald's often and this is one reason why. I would have left, but my husband asked me to pick him up food from McDonald's. I walked in and no one came to counter to ask if I need anything. Another gal was standing on my side of counter on her phone, so I asked if she was ordering and she said "no waiting for someone". At that point I moved forward a little and still no one came to front to take my order. I stood there for about 5 minutes until a gal that had been standing to outside the counter area asked if I wanted food, to which I nodded. She walked through a door to the counter and took my order (she was wearing a uniform that indicated she was an employee at another business). I then continued to wait for awhile (again over 5 minutes for food) as the employees wondered around the back, looking like it was the last place they wanted to be and chatting away with each other. As I stood there, 3 people came up to the counter with mistakes in their order. That was all the people inside, there were a few vehicles in the drive-thru. From the way it sounded the errors where food that went out through the window. The employees seemed annoyed that they had to correct the orders. I know one of the people with an error looked to be as annoyed as I was as he rolled his eyes to me. What has happened to customer service? PS as the gal gave me the food, almost tossing it to me, there wasn't even as much as, "Thanks", "Sorry about the wait", "Have a good day." These employees were very rude in addition to slow. Numerous horror stories from this particular location. Today's had me unable to cancel my order after waiting for 20 minutes, waiting for a total 40 minutes for food in curbside just to watch the employees hand my food to a car that didn't order it, leading to me going through the drive-thru and being told to wait on curbside for another 15 minutes before receiving burnt fries and a water bottle that was completely frozen. Food seems to be consistently correct and the few times I've eaten inside have been fine, but curbside in particular seems to work horribly at this location. read more

What's the point of having posted hours if you close before them? I pulled in at 9:55, their posted hours say they close at 11. I had already placed an order through the app, so they had my money, but when I got to the drive thru someone awkwardly told me "Uhhh we're done taking orders for the evening..." Went here yesterday and the business was quite slow, I ordered a medium fry, hardly any salt and was slightly cold, I also got a McChicken, there was very little mayo, it was really flat and small, the employees were ok, one person had an unpleasant additude, I might come here again but probably not. read more

Every single time you go through the drive through they just ask you to pull forward. so there's a line of cars in front of the window. I was going to get a meal but they had no sodas! While I was waiting for my sandwich and fries which took at least 20 minutes there were at least 5 people that came in complaining that they had been waiting in the drive thu 30 minutes or more after paying and still did not have their food. 3 people asked for their money back. One man took a meal that was going to go to someone else and walked out with it. There were at least other 6 people that didn't get their full order and had to come back and get what was left out. This is my favorite McDonald's out of all the Jefferson City McDonald's. The service is fast, hot, and everyone there is friendly. The drive thru is way faster than any McDonalds in Jefferson City, and this McDonald's always fills the fry pouches to the top instead of halfway like most. read more

Good Grief! I used to like this place a bit. Hasn't been a good experience for awhile. Today finalized my new policy of avoidance. Drive-Thru about 1:30pm, I ordered 4 Bacon McDoubles with no ketchup and no mustard. "That was....4 Bacon McDoubles with no ketchup or ...um... onions?" No, that was...." So we got past that. 20 seconds later I'm at the pay window "2 frappe.... somethingsomething"... "No.............. 4 Bacon Mc...." At the service window, I was sent to the front holding spot. After about 10 minutes, I saw an employee come out and stop and hand our order to the car that had barely stopped in the spot behind us. 5 more minutes, I went inside... "Yeah, we had to remake yours - he gave your order to someone else." First and only explanation. A bit longer and here came our order. With GOBS of ketchup and mustard. Employee looked very annoyed that we refused the food. Eventually came back and shoved us the right order without a word. It was very sloppily slapped together. After 15+ minutes and all the hassle, one might expect a word from a MANAGER, an offer of some compensation, something. But no, never at this McDonalds. read more
