Chicken dinner to go. They gave me 4 pieces of chicken instead of 3, I'll take that. The chicken was great. It was not heavy at all kind of like light to medium. Great balance. Not salty at all nor greasy. The meat nice and juicy, not dry at all. The dinner came with fries, a buscuit and a bit of cole slaw. The slaw needs improvement, it was too mayonnaisy. The buscuit was good and the fries, even though good as well only at half because I was full.

To the point where when I stopped for the night the only food available on yelp was showing as all fast food. It didn't appear to be one single restaurant open in this little town that I drove around and stumbled across Pig out BBQ , which is literally a converted house where they're serving fantastic barbecue straight out the kitchen window. I had a brisket sandwich with some of their spicy barbecue sauce And a sweet tea with a side of cobbler. The only thing I wasn't knocked over by was the cobbler, but boy that brisket sandwich made up for everything! It was really good and I'm not even a fan of sandwiches Folks don't let the exterior fool you, sometimes the very best food you'll get is good down home cooking like this and the fact that they shovel it out the kitchen window to your car is pretty adorable in my book. Cost effective AND yummy
