They were a bit rubbery and we could tell the meat was previously frozen and not of the best quality. Its a shame because the rest of the burgr was perfect. The fries were crisp and the coleslaw really good. The service and atmosphere was of a typical American diner. We plan on coming back but just hope the meat situation can get better.

I ordered the goat cheese burger (8,90€) for lunch. Service was quick and attentive. The burger was very tasty and the buns proved to be a sturdy vessel that held all the burger contents in tact. Since my original review I have come back to Der laden a few more times and have noticed a decline…read morein quality. I ordered last night with some friends and the hamburgers were not good. The meat was dry, low quality, tough, and mine was super salty. It was really not enjoyable. They also put sour cream on the burger which is just strange and does not help the taste of the burger. The chili fries lacked flavor and the chili was not that good especially for 4 euros. The decor, service, and ambience is amazing but the food not so much. I hope they can improve because the restaurant could be amazing.
