The low volume fabrics are also an exquisite collection. There's so much here and the pricing is very good and the store is so friendly. This is a well-maintained and nicely organized facility; with a wonderful selection of fabrics & quilting related items from which to choose. The staff were friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the variety of discounted fabric bolts available; and especially had fun digging through the scrap bin, to assemble a $5 bag of nice pieces. We also purchased a beautiful finished runner, quilted by the owner's mother. This is definitely a shop we hope to revisit, when again in the area.

They held my car on the property till the funds come in my bank and let that person's transportation company pick up the car keeping us both safe! Now that they stepped up with this in definitely going to review some of the other great interfaces with them. I visited this weekend to see the work of this iconic glass genius and nephew of the great St. Clare glass legends. Elwood is known for the glass factories that thrived mid 20th century. Members of the St. Clare family have made decorative glass items since 1890s. During my visit, Joe and artisan, Matt, were demonstrating glass blowing and other techniques at the shop as part of the Elwood Glass Festival. Joe has been making glass since he was twelve years old and his work is exquisite. The shop is tidy. I purchased five spectacular pieces of glass signed by Joe from his little gift shop. Joe's wife runs the shop and was super friendly and wrapped my treasures with great care. In a back room, St. Clare family pieces were on display along with family photos. Joe is proud of Elwood and it's history. He sent us to look at several historic sites. There's parking on the west side of the building. There is a public restroom. Call before you make the trip to make sure they are open. Prices were very reasonable. Can't get much more local with lovely craftsmanship.
