Personally, I always have trouble deciding & usually end up splitting multiple burgers with friends. I've been eating at Grill'd now for going on 12 years since it's fist location opened on Glenferrie Road in Melbourne. During that time I've found their burgers to be, not only delicious but also perfectly consistent & packed full of super fresh ingredients. As a result it's easy to tell that the guys here genuinely care about the product they send out to your table. Grill'd burgers are from a nutritional stand point, relatively healthy. These bad boys certainly won't leave you feeling heavy or bloated which for me, is a major win. Most of the burgers here only pack a respectable 500/600 calories. Sure, add a side of chips to that & your cranking it up a notch, but that being said it's impossible to dine here & not bask in the glory that are their herb seasoned chips. My personal favourite? A lamb burger dubbed the 'Glorious Goats Cheese' consisting of grass fed lean lamb, Meredith Dairy goats cheese, hummus & salad. This burger is big, hearty & packs a certain creaminess that I find to be the heart & soul of the burger. Other honourable mentions include the 'Simon Say's' burger, packed with a grilled chicken breast, avocado, crispy trim bacon, salad, relish & herbed mayo. It is an open concept cafe like burger chain with modern interior design. Decided to order El Fish burger - $10 (price subject to change) which consist of battered fish, cos lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, pickles and lemon herb aioli. I decided to opt out the vegetables as the burger might be bloated and the main taste might not be there. With an additional $5, you could choose a drink and a side dish: chips, sweet potato chips or coleslaw. I am a fan of sweet potato chips and hence I ordered that with Kirk's creamy soda. Next time round I'll probably give the cheesy bacon chips and one of the shakes. Servers are friendly and food arrived within 5 minutes. The burger's buns are crispy and well-cooked. The ingredients are also well-cooked and flavorful. The sauce... Just beyond words. It just makes you wanting to eat more of those. This food court McDonald's was super busy at lunch time and we ordered 2 fish filets with fries and they were fresh. The fries were steaming hot and to my surprise the ketchup was free which usually is not the case at any non-American locations. Yelp has not been as popular in Australia as around the world hence you don't have any reviews for most locations. 4 star for the fresh food and great service. Pricing is pretty much standard as around the world for McDonald's.
