We went through the drive through and ordered a small coffee and a medium diet dr. pepper. Coffee was almost room temperature- not the hot coffee McDonalds is known for- and we received a Diet Coke instead of a diet dr. pepper. Had to ask 3 times for a coffee stirrer. We were coming back from our camping trip so we have a camper and there was so much room to park our camper. We went inside and ordered our food and they took about 5 minutes to get all 5 meals ready. It was awesome. When we came out we looked in our bag and everything was there. This is probably the worst McDonald's I've ever been to! I went to a machine to order my food (therefore doing half the work for no discount!) and they somehow forgot to prepare it. After 20 minutes of sitting at my table with the number on it and no service, despite several employees walking past us several times, I had to go up to the counter to ask if there was a problem with my order. The lady at the register said nothing to me, brought the ticket to the woman whom I assume was the manager. This person only barely glanced at me and kept her back turned to me. Said nothing, yet again. I waited for an additional 5 minutes behind the counter wondering if they were even preparing the order. Luckily it was. The same manager brought my tray over to me without speaking to me - no apology whatsoever. I'll just assume that they're racist against white people. However, the restaurant was full of cackling employees in the back, having fun with each other. No professionalism whatsoever. Another local patron at the next table noticed all this and said that this McDonald's is one of the worst, and that since it had recently transferred ownership, the restaurant went down the tubes. McDonalds needs to take a look at this place. A total failure in the service industry! read more

This is a great McDonald's! Was driving from Florida to Maryland and stopped off of I-85. It was crowded but clean and the service was fast and friendly. And the customers were the most polite I've ever seen. Maybe this area of the country is like the old West? Everyone back then was polite 'cause you could wind up dead for being rude to the wrong people. Any way, it was a good decision to stop here. read more

My family and I are on our way home from Gulf Shores vacationing from Illinois, and we stopped in to this McDonald's to grab breakfast. The bathrooms were immaculant, the entire restaurant was clean! After leaving the doctor I decided to have a McDonald's quarterpounder as a treat...it had been over six months since I had one due to the pandemic and I thought it would be a treat. Being as I'm a bit hard of hearing and my left arm is in injured and in a sling I opted to risk going inside to order and retrieve my order. I see that this particular McDonald's is listed as having delivery and curbside pickup but I saw no evidence of this (maybe it exists in the clown's imagination only?)...unlike Chic-Fil-A which does an excellent job at placing curbside pickup signs and giving excellent service. Whatever the case, I wanted a quarter-pounder so went inside the Greenville McDonald's. When I enter I find the dining room to be basically empty with only two people inside. These two people had apparently already ordered and were waiting on their food. Knowing what I wanted to order I walked up to the "open" register and waited for one of the employees to come take my order. And I waited. And I waited. And I waited some more. None of the six or seven on the "front side" of the kitchen acknowledged me. I began to feel as if my presence was not welcomed especially as employees walked right past me, ignoring my presence without so much as a nod of the head acknowledging me standing there. I waited longer than I should have, probably because it's a hassle getting in and out of vehicles and buildings with a bum arm. Finally I turned around and left. I'm sure it will be a long, long time before I let a McDonald's *anywhere* have any of my money. In this day of so much division in our country I hate to mention racial discrimination but that feeling was certainly what I left with. Maybe it was just very, very poor customer service. This was my worst experience at McDonalds ever! I ordered a dinner box and was given Big Mac Bundle. I even asked at the window if the dinner box had everything like the 2 cheeseburgers, 4 small fries, 2 big macs, sweet tea, and a 10 piece nugget. They said yes so i paid for my food. Afterwards i only got 2 big macs and 2 fries. I had to pay $16 for what looks like 2 meals rather than the dinner box which i would've had to pay only $13. I don't suggest coming here. read more

Months ago I was told that through my app my order didn't go through despite me showing their manager that the charge went through on my banking app. The longest I've ever had to debate something and then given cold food cause the argument went in for almost an hour. Yesterday I give my order at the drive through and the order was half right. I asked why and the drive thru window was shut in my face. This has been ongoing for years. Staff was not friendly, it was like they were doing me a favor!! Welcome to McDonalds? Not! I said where do we order? The staff member pointed to the screen and walked off? So I placed our order and turned around and noticed there was a cash register, only one taking orders! I didn't want to use the screen to order because everyone else was touching the screen! After my order I tried to sanitize my hands but both hand sanitizers were out! Food was good once we received our order. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a medium fry and 3 chocolate chip cookies. After I was handed my order at the second window, I checked my order. When I inspected the contents in the bag, I noticed that all 3 of my cookies were dark, nearly burnt, and hard. So, I pulled into a parking spot and went in and spoke with who I assumed was a shift manager. I told her that my cookies were hard and I wanted some fresh ones. She looked at the cookies and said ok, I'll get you some fresh ones. She took cookies over to the expeditor station and ask the guys in the kitchen who sent out these cookies through drive-thru, they all laugh and said, they didn't send out any cookies. So, I guess they magical put themselves into a bag and sent themselves out. So, the GM (Jim) walks up to her and asked what was going on and she told him. Jim then preceded to walk over to me with menacing grin and stated that that's how the cookies are supposed to be, hard not soft, even though he didn't even take the time to look to see the condition they were in. I told him that I've NEVER received cookies that looked like that from this location and they were unacceptable. He went on to say that that's how HE likes HIS cookies... hard. I stated that was good for him but that's NOT how I like MINE. He was combative and passive aggressive towards me and he insisted still that cookies are suppose to be hard. I am the customer and if I have a problem with my order it shouldn't be an issue, which he  tried to make one. I DO NOT appreciate how I was treated and talked to by this so-called professional GM, his behavior was beyond unacceptable. If the GM is allowed to treat HIS customers sub-par then why should any of HIS employees treat HIS other customers any less. read more

Literally the worst service experience I have ever had, all for a cold cup of coffee. The woman taking my order was rude over the intercom- sadly pretty standard, no big deal. I pulled up to the "pay here" sign to pay for my coffee, but the man sitting there (who saw me pull up, stop, and wait) never opened the window or told me to pull up to another window. I sat there for 10 minutes thinking he was having an issue with the computers or something and would get to me when he could. No one ever acknowledged me until a man talking garbage to their dumpster yelled at me to pull up. I pulled up and paid without really thinking twice about any of it, but when the cashier handed me my card back, she YELLED "YOU AINT GOTTA SNATCH IT!" at me, and literally slammed the window in my face. This store is not up to McDonald's standards. I understand that we are living in a unusual time, however we stopped with 2 hungry toddlers and went in to get food. Okay so it's easier to just go inside to get you food at this McDonald's, because the line is normally super busy outside. But the food is normally pretty good , I haven't had many problems with it. The only reason why I can't give it four stars is because the customer service just isn't good. They need to work on having employees who are respectful towards there customers. Ok so I have to balance the score lets not get it twisted it is not 5 stars but who really is expecting that services or food needs to get a life. On the other hand if this place did not spring into a international existence then what else would u grab the kids or yourself when u don't feel like, have the money, wrong attire, just left the gymnasium (pit funk), to go out to eat for real. It's functional and for my mental stability I love this place and hate it at the same time. Ok it's not very healthy but we seem to find something to indulge in so you just take your pick. While I was waiting on my coffee the customer in front of me and the worker at the cash register got into a full blown argument about hashbrowns. The worker followed her to the door yelling and mocking the customer while the other workers laughed. If you're looking for a McD's, I strongly suggest you keep driving until you find another one. Sausage burritos were delicious, staff was busy with cell phones when we went back up to the registers to ask for hot sauce that usually accompanies the burritos. Not a big deal, but noticeable. I can't say enough about the staff at this McDonald's! While traveling home from vacation, we stopped for a quick lunch (yummy, of course). Upon returning home (2 hrs away), I realized I had left my purse at the restaurant! A frantic phone call later proved there are still honest, good people in the world.
