We drive by the Skillet Fork every Sunday on our way to church and every Sunday morning it's busy…read moreso we decided to stop after church on our way home. We had an open face beef with mashed potatoes and a bbq pork steak dinner. The place was empty when we arrived and seated. The waitress had our drinks and order in no time. The place was clean and smelled great. As we waited for our food the place started filling up. Evidently this is a favorite for after church crowd locally. Our food arrived and was very tasty and good portions. It soon got noisy only because everyone was happy and visiting. I even ran in to a couple of old acquaintances. All in all I give this place 5 stars.

I am trying to eat better maybe so went with the gyro. I was able to get to Bugsy's a little after 6pm which is key since they close a7pm. Only person in the place was Bugsy. Took my order and then sent me to go grab a seat. Since the place was empty that was easy. In about 10-15 minutes a very hot huge gyro and plate of fries shows up. Wow. I ate all the gyro but barely made a dent in the fries. The taziki (misspelled I know) sauce was delicious. The gyro was full of meat cooked so fine. Now the decor? Wow this place is retro. Definitely a Chicago fan also. Lots of memorabilia and stuff on the wall. The place is bright also. Bugsy is old school so not a chatter but efficient and effective. His restaurant is just like him. Old school perfection. No bull just dogs and gyros and home cut fries. An awesome trip back to the past. Short on glitz but huge on taste which is what counts.

We decided on a meal of nachos, as we can more easily control the ingredients in the food. I explained to the lady that I have food sensitivities, and she was as careful as anyone has ever been in preparing my food. She even got out fresh cheese, as the location of the cheese meant that tomatoes might have dripped into it. This is true thoughtfulness. I think anyone who visits this Moe's will be blessed.

I ordered 3 large pizzas totaling $43.06. I picked the pizza up at the window and rushed home so they would be hot. When my son opened the pizzas each one was completely burnt up. The look of disappointment on his face broke my heart as it was his birthday!!! I called dominoes and they were argumentative saying the pizzas were not burnt. I asked if they could deliver 3 more since this was obviously their fault. They refused. So I drove 5 miles back to dominoes and returned the pizza. They said they would make 3 more but only made 2 so now I have 1 cold pizza to take back home with me. We had ordered 2 toppings and there was barely any toppings on the 2 new pizzas as staff was mad about having to remake the pizza. It was like eating dry cardboard (pic attached) They acted as though I was the problem. The pizza was so burnt there is no way they didnt see this when boxing it up. It should have never been handed out to a customer and the attitude seriously should have been kept in check. In hindsight I should have just asked for a refund and left. Needless to say my sons birthday dinner was ruined. I wil never go back to this place again. They were uncaring unprofessional and offered absolutely nothing in an attempt to make up for what they did. Free delivery for the remade pizza was even out of the question!! Shame on this business!!! It cost me $43.06 to absolutely ruin a special time for my son and family

The building looks like it was an old VFW on the outside. Inside they did a good job giving it a Mexican decor. Using paintings and other Mexican items. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive. Great service. I was rattling my ice because I like to suck it on. She came over immediately to make sure I didn't want more. She wasn't Mexican to my knowledge. She commented she needed to learn Spanish. My skeptical meter went up a bit. I saw the cook. Definitely Mexican. This isn't to say non-Mexicans can't prepare good Mexican food. Don't know why I put so much detail into that. The chips and salsa was decent. Got queso dip. It was good. I ordered the Tacos de Chorizo. I needed to know how good their chorizo is. I also ordered a tamale al a carte. Another important taste test. My tacos were good. The chorizo tasted just fine. My tamale was good. It was covered it mole and cheese. The masa was fantastic. Although, they serve chicken tamales. I prefer pork. I didn't have sides but I tasted the refried beans. Amazing! Most places refried beans are bland or taste funky. The rice was ok. Not the greatest. Though as by rating, I rate it really high. I don't make to town often but will come here again. I hope they are able to get more business. More people need to check it out!
