I ordered a Pizza & Garlic Mushrooms for collection, very fast service as I picked it up 15 minutes after placing the order. Unfortunately when I got home the Pizza was undercooked, so after phoning Pizza Palos to let them know, I took the Pizza & Garlic Mushrooms back. My plan was for them to cook it properly & reheat the Garlic Mushrooms, but they were so offhand I decided it would be best to just have a refund. I asked for a full refund as I didn't want (now cold) Garlic Mushrooms, but the Manager refused point blank to refund the Garlic Mushrooms, a small amount of money I know, but I was rather disgusted at not being able to have a full refund due to the fact that they hadn't cooked the Pizza properly. I can't remember coming across such an awful service & will not be ordering any Pizza's or Garlic Mushrooms from them again! So, pizza lovers, bear in mind their awful customer service when you decide to get a Pizza from Pizza Palos!

I'm rarely infuriated to the point of writing a terrible review as I like to give small businesses a chance but it really felt like this restaurant either couldn't care less about their customers, or think they are incredibly stupid. We ordered 3 dishes: duck with ginger and green onion, a vegetable stir fry, and chicken cashew something. The chicken was probably the best of the three (I'm being very generous here) with actual chicken and cashew in it. They all tasted about the same as I think they were in an identical sauce. The duck dish was a huge disappointment. Maybe it would help to actually put some duck in there. Please have a look at the photo and tell if you can identify the 4 small cubes of duck among the sea of onion. If that's what you are going to serve me, please rename the dish "Craptons of onion garnished with a dusting of flavourless duck." Same deal with the vegetable dish. Really? 1 tiny piece of broccoli (not pictured as we had to fight over it) in a massive pile of bean sprouts. Again, consider renaming more accurately so people know it's a pile of blanched bean sprouts, more onion (oh goodie!), and a random piece of carrot here and there to remind you how stupid they think you must be to be fooled into thinking this is what you ordered. The flavours were actually okay, but then again, my palate for onion may be limited. Mostly I was annoyed and offended that this place thinks it's ok to pull this kind of garbage with customers. Honestly, a head of broccoli costs a pound and the veg dish was at least 7, you'd think you can get your food costs a bit more balanced. FYI the pound or whatever it is they save per dish by being stingy with proper ingredients is costing them regular customers. Instead of coming here, just bite into a head of onion and save your money.
