I stopped here a few days ago driving through to the mountains. Hardly any parking spaces unless you're doing curbside pickup. I found an open spot in the back. The drive thru was crazy busy. I wanted to eat inside after driving so long. When I went inside they were doing some work on half of the dining room and the other half had a few people hanging out with no food. So , I ended up getting my food and eating in my SUV. Inside they only take your order from the App or the Kiosk. I used the App so I could use my points for a free Frappe. I also got a McDouble and a small fry. As busy as they are the hamburger meat tasted like it had been in the warmer for a while. My fries were hot and fresh though. If I lived in Charlotte I definitely wouldn't come back to this McDonald's location. After looking at the list of locations in Charlotte it looks like the norm unfortunately. read more

This is the most disorganized McDonald's. If you order through the drive through, you're immediately sent to a parking spot where you will wait 30+ minutes to get SOME of your food. I've been here several times and every time I have a long wait followed by a missing item that I have to track an employee down to wait even longer for. read more

Does anyone besides me think that service is worse since McDonalds added a second drive through line. Their system just isn't that efficient. They are trying to compete with others and just failing miserably especially at this location. read more

This location is incapable of fulfilling a simple order without asking you to pull over and wait. It's not fast food and very poorly managed and often times, the food is cold. read more

As you know, giving a Restaurant a second chance is always good. I have given this restaurant numerous chances and as always, they fail, simple order big Mac, no cheese no pickles. I received a burger with cheese and pickles,, My food was cold. My fries were cold. I will never eat here again. As you know, McDonald's are very close together, so please avoid this one. since I went through the drive-through. I tried to call the restaurant and the phone is constantly busy, which I'm assuming they take it off the hook. If I was the franchise owner, I would definitely be more concerned about your reputation and pay a little bit more attention to what's going on in your business. Thank you. read more

This location needs to get rid of the heavy manager. He's always sweating, panting and has a bad attitude.

If I could give negative stars I would. Absolute worst McDonald's on the face of the earth. Service is trash. Sat in line for close to an hour because I was trapped inside the cones just to be told once we got to the order speaker to pull around with the other millions of cars in line. Got in line a little before midnight with absolutely no movement and didn't get to the order speaker until 12:45 with 15 minutes to close. DONT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

f we waited for 30+ minutes just for not even half of our food to come. They forgot my mc chicken and a burger and we paid 27$ for it. the food was cold and the fries were un salted. If you want to waste your time go to this McDonald's. read more

What a horrible experience. Got half my order wrong and gave us soda with no flavor. Then offered us new drinks when we said something. Then we waited for 20 minutes. Food is cold now and I'm still sitting here. Deplorable! A waste of $25. More for my pups now I guess. read more

My underage daughter was hit on by a older gentleman during picking up food from the drive thru and it made her very uncomfortable and scared.she should not feel like she cant go get food without being preyed on by older men it's disgusting and unprofessional and that employee needs to be fired immediately.i will be contacting corporate. read more

Early morning I came in on a Sunday. The people that was supposed to be upfront was in the back drinking coffee instead of taking orders. I stood there for six minutes and nobody said good morning or anything. There were also people behind me three other people waiting for their orders to be taken and they're were acting as if no one was standing there they were talking among themselves having conversations never came to the front so when I left all the other customers left out also, so I don't know if they was making it seem like they were at home but if you have to come here, don't waste your time. If it's a day of work, you will be late. They did not acknowledge me nor did they come and take our order. I stood there for six minutes, they were drinking coffee walking around instead of assisting customers and I don't think that sanitary to be drinking coffee in the back while making food... read more

It was nice they opened inside and a couple of weeks ago I would have given more stars. But my son and I went there the other day, there was one guest in the lobby and another waiting for his order, the young man that took our order had gloves on after taking our order he went over and put napkins in the happy meal boxes I don't think he put in the fries and not sure on the burgers. I took the food to the table it was not cleaned, so I went up front and asked for their cleaning towel and cleanser. The same guy came out with a towel and wiped my table and others and said they were busy and no time to clean tables. While this man was in the lobby he also pushed down the garbage I never saw him changed gloves. This behavior is not acceptable before COVID-19 and really unacceptable now. read more

It's pointless to use the mobile order app, every time I have tried to use the mobile order they cancel it at the window and then asked me to pay in person and re-order which not only makes you lose the deal and points but also makes you pay more. They say that the third time's the charm well that is true this is the third time they have messed up on their staffs behalf. Im usually the it's okay it's whatever kinda person, cause I've worked in the food industry before... but when you tell a staff member your problem and they don't bother to fix it. That's an issue. read more

Food is horrible. Fries undercooked, not filled. Sodas are flat. Burgers weren't made correctly and when remade, not hot.

Usually I wouldn't write a review for McDonald's but I received exceptionally good service tonight. Sometimes the night shift at McDonald's is really slow but this location has their act together. I was instantly greeted on the drive thru speaker and just ordered a smoothie. The lady was so nice I wish I got her name but I think she was the manager or something. The other staff were super friendly too and I was in and out of the parking lot in under two minutes. Go McDonald's! read more

Went in to purchase $100 in gift cards and grab a couple burgers. Stood at the counter for 10 minutes until a black lady with braids walked by taking an order outside and told me to order from kiosk is an u professional manner. I told her I needed gift cards too and did t know how to order them. She finally came and ask how much and I told her I wanted to add a couple burgers too. This lady told me to order that from the kiosk to make it easier on her. I asked to speak to manager and this Spanish lady yelled up front to order from kiosk while the black lady was saying, "that's what I told him."" You cannot make this stuff up. To start with I don't come to Fast food restaurants to make it easier on a burger flipper. I come for the convenience for me and my family. I understand being short staffed but that is not my problem as a customer. If you were a better manager you would be able to staff correctly. Will never go back to this hole again. By the way this is the Micky Ds at Mt Island Lake in Charlotte. Don't believe me just look through all the one and two star reviews. read more

This McDonalds drive thru is always sooooooo slow! I can not deal with it, I think this will be my last time patronizing this establishment. Even with the two-way drive thru it is still extremely slow. I believe they were rotating two drivers at a time between the two lines. Which was a little annoying. It seemed like it made the process a lot slower, not very productive. When I finally got my order, which I got a chicken nugget happy meal and an order of medium fries they were cold and hard! As if the fries had been sitting under the light all day and night! OMG you have to be kidding me! I was not wasting more time to wait on an order of hot fries! This fast food was not so fast and not so HOT either! I was gonna give this McDonalds 2 stars but I'm taking a star away! UGH! read more

Rick and Mac McDonald are rolling over in their graves because of how low the standards at their restaurants have become. If I could have left zero stars, I would have. I waited in the drive through lane for 30 minutes to open my food to find a burnt burger and stale chicken nuggets. Then again, maybe I should thank you. Since I'll probably wont go to a McDonalds again for the foreseeable future, I'll finally be able to kick start my weight loss. read more

This McDonald's is horrible , I come in the Mornings usually around 430am and could be the only one in line and still always have a long wait . The crazy thing is the only tho I order is coffee. If there was some place else for me to shop on my way to work I would. The service is horrible , there's always a man blocking the drive threw cleaning it he won't even get out of the way the morning I end up having to drive off without getting my coffee. I wish they would get it together ( mobile ordering doesn't help either) read more

Always only accepting cash even though I put in a mobile order & already paid on my phone. Today my boyfriend & I ordered an unsweet tea & a half sweet half unsweet tea & it was disgusting. Whoever is the manager of this McDonald's needs to be replaced IMMEDIATELY! This McDonald's is in a prime location and needs to be run by someone with experience and professionalism. I went there tonight and was in the second line from the building. It took over 30mins just to get to the speaker. When I got there I wasn't greeted, no recording..... nothing! It was dead silent. I watched 7 cars from the first line who arrived after me get thru before someone finally came on to take my order. When I got to window I asked them if the speaker works the poor kid told me that it was one girl handling both lines! I looked in there and there were 4 employees! They are all kids! It's not their fault! All the ppl in that restaurant tonight was working as hard as they possibly could. They apologized and informed me that they were understaffed. This falls strictly on management! Whoever they are needed to be in there dipping fries and making burgers, if you don't have proper staff or leadership then CLOSE YOUR DOORS! It's been closed before. I have went there a few times and was told they were closed due to no staff. Something needs to be done about this McDonald's or sell the entire spot to a food chain that can pay their workers better and manage their scheduling better! These poor kids are there working like dogs and then getting the brunt of frustrated customers! They need to be compensated for their trouble. If this was my kid having to work under theses conditions, I would be in first thing in the morning to speak to leadership! I intended to report this store to the BBB and McDonald's headquarters! Your store is giving McDonald's a very bad name!!!! read more

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I just ordered a smokehouse Burger combo. First they make me pull up and no one is behind me. 2nd I have no fries in bag when brought out. I cannot just back up because they made me go to the number one spot which is almost towards the exit. I pull out and pull back in. Walk inside with a receipt with no money showing on it just my burger. I asked where my fries were. the gentleman inside said she only charged me for the sandwich. So he already knew there was an issue with my order before it came out to me.I didn't see a diet Coke on that receipt .but they gave me that at the window when I paid. Also back on Veterans day they would not honor their sign on the front door and give me the free sandwich. I have my VA card and everything. I am never going back to McDonald's again read more

FOOD EWWW OLD MEAT!!!! don't ever eat here you have to tell them you want fresh meat to not get old nasty meat why even sell that

This is probably one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to the drive-thru line is always busy always long the people that attend to you act like they don't like their jobs I recommended driving the extra mileage to Denver to get better customer service and your food probably done quicker than if you wait in line here for somebody to serve you. My sincerest apologies for the run-on sentence. read more

Do yourself a favor. If you have to come to this location, don't bother going through the drive thru. I have been here five times and each one they tell me to pull up to the waiting area. What the point of having two drive thru lanes then? The last time there were only two cars behind me, I ordered, pulled up to the window and yep... got the usual "can you pull to number two?" It's just a #4 with a coke... you can't handle that? As I was pulling to my favorite waiting spot, my order was already being walked out the front and passed to one of the other numerous customers waiting. Really??? It's amazing how many McDonald's I stop at, as well as other fast food restaurants. On Tuesday I stopped at the location near Mt island lake. Purchase $7.88 of food. Handed them $8.00 in cash and was told McDonald's would not allow him to give me the .12 in change due to the supposedly coin shortage. None of the other 4 fast food restaurants I stopped at that day had issues giving me change. Sounds as though McDonald's has found a new way to make money. #boycottingmcdonalds read more

Worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Every time I've stopped here they make me wait in the drive thru lane. Today was the last straw, I had to convince the guy in the window that I asked for a large coke. Finally got that, then my order came out and it was wrong. The guy in the window had to convince the manager that I wasn't trying to rip them off by showing her the receipt. Then she snatches the bag and huffs around looking for the rest of my order. I really tried to give this store a chance, but enough is enough. I will never be back to this one. I will just go next door to chick fil a,where they have never messed up my order or given me an attitude. read more

Only missing one star because maybe once or three times, I've received the wrong drink, but it's okay mistakes happen in this kind of industry. Otherwise, portions are good, employees look clean, and the inside was pretty good for that it does. There are elder ladies who will come in and complain about when the coffee was made last and such, but otherwise this is a good family wholesome McDonald's without old people or anyone being inappropriate. read more

Worst drive thru customer service because they rush you through drive thru to parking space in order to speed up their drive through time. They will honestly tell you that's why you have to go wait. Food comes out very shortly so you know it was already ready when you were at food window but they didn't want to waste time bagging it for you. Don't ask for sauces now. Lots of attitude. Too late, you should have asked them when you were at the window where they were pressuring you to pull ahead to the parking space they're pointing to. Hopefully inside is better... read more
