You instantly know probably nothing has changed from when they first opened and you're getting the original recipes. The owner, Jimmy (son of the namesake owner, Tommy), was there to greet us. What a guy. Seriously. This man could not have been kinder. And FUNNY. We liked him immediately. He was patient when we were deciding what we wanted, and he opened up dialogue with us and the other local regulars who came in. We not only learned about his family history, but we got to learn more about the town, too. Always an added bonus for us as we like meeting new people and hearing their stories. My sister got a hotdog with onions and Jimmy suggested I get the chili, cheese, and potatoes hotdog. As someone who loves making chili, I appreciated they make their chili in-house!
