It was a little overdone, cheese not fully melted, only had two pickles and was smothered in mustard. I love mustard, but this was too much for me. The fries were good, but over salted and not hot as you'd expect from made to order. For what is spent on eating out these days, I guess I expect better.

Everything was made to order, although it did take a while. The first thing up was the milkshake, a medium sized cup topped with whipped cream. The shake was made with real ice cream, so it was smooth and creamy, the chocolate flavor was muted and the whipped cream diluted the flavor even more. Next up was the Impossible burger and fries. The burger was a bit overcooked, what was most disappointing was that despite the $10 cost of the burger the toppings were skimpy at best and all piled on the center of burger. The fries are medium sized and came out luke warm and not very crispy. While the food was ok, there was nothing that was tasty enough to try again. Wayback Burgers is set up as a premium fast food burger place, the prices are high, yet the food is mediocre at best, also the portions are a bit underwhelming especially at the prices they are charging. I have made better Impossible burgers at home, the fries were just ok, the milkshake was the best thing I had but still was not very chocolatey. Also service was a bit slow at best.

We started with the truffle fries, and even though I don't usually like or order crinkle-cut fries, these were outstanding. They were topped with shaved Parmesan, sun-dried tomato aioli, and truffle basil mayo and were absolutely delicious. For entrées, I had the Brandy Burger with chips, which was fantastic. My husband ordered The Pammy Melt with chips and a side salad, and the homemade ranch dressing was especially good. My younger son had the New York strip steak with sweet potato fries, finished with a bourbon maple syrup glaze that he loved. My oldest son went with the Cheeseburger Deluxe and fries, which he said was great as well. From the outside, the restaurant looks like an old house, and inside it's quite small, but very quaint, cozy, and welcoming. We did wait about 20 minutes for a table, but our server was incredibly friendly and attentive the entire time. He checked on us multiple times, offered drinks while we waited, and kept us updated on when our table would be ready. He was kind, personable, and clearly attentive to everyone in the dining area. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a really enjoyable night. We would absolutely go back.

LOL Been here many times, have never walked out saying "Wow,…read morethat was good." I tolerate it when others suggest we meet there. Last night for the Draft, they had a nice crowd at the tables, but hardly anyone at the bar. Hopped up on a tall bar chair and nearly fell off as a wooden support piece was dangling from the bottom. Switched chairs and, while I didn't fall off, I could rock back and forth on it..weak wood again. Then the LOL kicks in. Two people behind the bar. For the next two hours, we were not spoken to. Every single thing we ordered, we had to get their attention. The male was particularly hilarious as he never even made eye contact with us as we were begging for service. The food? Less than meh. Very Gordon Food Service in taste and presentation. The bill for four domestic beers, one sandwich and one small pizza (a Thursday special low price) was 54 bucks before tip! It's a mystery to me why there are so many cars in the parking lot every time I come. I know the atmosphere is good for kids (loud and big inside).
