There are a few questions I ask myself when ordering a poutine.. Do the cheese curds squeak just right? Yes they do! So fresh and big that you have mountains of cold delicious curds. Is the gravy made from scratch? Yes it is and it's the same sauce they have been using since 1985. We got a large poutine to share it was around $13, we had to ask for a lid because we were not able to finish it all. The hamburger and hot dogs were awesome as well. We will be back

It's been a while since I've been to Boucherville but I don't remember this Timmy's being there last time. It's newer than the A&W though that's for sure. This A&W is typical and I've been here many, many times because it's the closest place to get a fast bite to eat from my office in Boucherville so when I need to get a quick eat this is the place. I'm not a fan of Timmy's food so I won't go there for lunch. The thing about A&W is that it's a bit more expensive than the other burger chains like BK, McD's or Wendy's. The Double Teen alone is almost 8 bucks. That's just for the burger, not a combo (aka Trio in La Belle province). I ended up ordering the Double Teen "trio" and added onion rings (rondelle d'oignon) and it was like almost 18 bucks! Still, that root beer in a frosty mug where the top freezes up makes it all worth it. I really do not drink pop/soda much anymore but this place... how does Haley Williams put it? - "You are the only exception". The advantages of eating in besides the frosted glass mug is the fact you can sprinkle that seasoned salt on your fries. So.much.sodium.already and I just added more. The Double Teen is my go to though. Bacon cheeseburger and it's a double? Sold. In hindsight the onion rings aren't that great but I like the freshness of the fries and the food overall. The employees who work there are extremely amazing, they're all so kind and joyful, they'll always put a smile on your face. My only complaint is that it's a little pricey and they don't take debit. The service makes up for it though ;)

Working in Montreal for a couple of weeks and it's dinnertime. I found Twister Burger which was didn't have a large amount of ratings, but they had a big menu so I chose them! Here's how it went. Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right off a pretty wide street that doesn't seem like a main road is this gem. There's no private parking lot so you'll have to park on the street in the neighborhood, but I didn't have a hard time finding space. Once inside you're transported back to like... the 40s? 50s? Whenever the soda fountain era was with the black/white checkered walls, neon lights and the whole thing. Lol. It was cute. The restaurant is fairly small and that's okay! It makes for a more comfortable and cozy feel. I got my food to go so I didn't have to stay long. Service: The gentlemen behind the counter was very helpful and make sure I got everything that I needed. He also helped me since most of the menus are in French. Food: I started off with their Taco Salad, but as of now I don't see it listed on their menu anymore. Anyway, it's basically their now Southwest Salad which contains mixed greens, corn, red onion, avocado, fried tortillas and shredded cheese, served with chipotle ranch. But instead of being in a bowl, it's in a fluffy, crispy taco shell which was very flavorful and enjoyable. It worked well. The name of the place is called Twisted Burger so I had to try at least one of them. I decided on the Trio Diablo Burger which is 130g beef (1/3 lb), jalapeños, monterrey jack cheese, habanero salsa, grilled onion, chipotle mayonnaise and lettuce, and tomatoes. It kinda slid apart in transport, but I was able to put it back together at my hotel room and it was fine. Nothing super crazy or explosive to report. It was a decent burger and satisfied my cravings for sure. The beer-battered onion rings were okay too. Nothing special and I don't think I was expecting anything out of this world either. Most beer-battered onion rings taste the same, so it's good that it's a familiar flavor to recognize. Value: My taco salad was $14.95CAD, my burger was $10.95CAD and my onion rings were $4.95CAD. This is a GREAT DEAL on the amount of food I had for sure. Looking for a cheap date, something quick, nothing fancy, I dig this place for sure.

The owner of the restraunt was very nice about it knowing I was from out of town and corrected my 2 hotdogs immediately with a smile on his face making me feel comfortable and gave my husband the 2 mistake hotdogs for FREE. I thought that was very nice of him to do, It literally made our day and will always come back here to eat whenever we are in town. The restraunt is very clean with alot of space and seats. The staff is very friendly always smiling with great attuided. The food is fresh tasty and for a GREAT PRICE If you're in Montreal or visiting stop by here you wont regrete the decision.
