This McDonald's is at a rest stop attached to a gas station and a Nordsee. The gas station is a Shell.
They have the screens that you can order from, so there is minimal interaction with the employees. You pick what you want on the screen and pay with your card just below the screen. And then step to the side and wait.
When your order is up, the number will appear on the screen above the counter. You can also see where your order falls in the queue, so you know if it's coming up. They also say your number.
I selected to take my food out so it was in a paper bag which included napkins. The soda had a straw with it.
There is a seating area but, in the current climate, some tables are marked off. I feel like there could have been more hand sanitizer available, especially by the door. read more
