At the consultation the provider will give you the prices for everything. Treatments are "pricey", but they will be the same cost almost anywhere. It's reasonable in price for the things this place offers. Also, it has monthly or seasonal discounts on certain treatments. This place offers products as well like sunscreens & lotions.

I met with a nurse who evaluated my problems and educated me on what I should get treated. She put together notes to make my in office visit quick and easy. I really like how professional they are as medical professionals and not as most cosmetic professionals who don't consider health factors and putting together a health & physical. On the day of my in-person appointment, upon arrival they took me into one of the nurses office to continue my consultation and take pictures of my problem areas. All information was added on to my record. They had also scheduled me for a chemical peel. The lady who did my chemical peel was so sweet and informative. She was so patient with me. In fact, all the staff members were just so helpful and sweet. Every time I call for scheduling or questions they are just so kind. Their customer service is out of this world. I also love that they have memberships, monthly specials and new member discounts. Just so many ways to save money while obtaining skin care services. I've been a patient of Pariser Dermatology since I moved back to the area in 2014. I've seen…read moremultiple providers but most often see Dr. Torosky or PA Lindsey Seddon. I am a frequent flyer, having been first diagnosed with melanoma in 2009 with multiple recurrences since, so I'm here at least every 3 months. This Chesapeake location is clean and easily accessible, though, like most specialty practices you may have a long wait to get an appointment. I highly recommend aiming for a first morning or first afternoon appt if you don't want to deal with providers running behind. The providers have always spent ample time with me to listen to my needs and complete necessary skin checks. I recently needed to change medications and Lindsey researched my options thoroughly, listened to my concerns and we made a plan of care together. They also employ 2 aestheticians for those interested in neuromodulators or custom laser face and body treatments. I am grateful to Pariser for their care!

I went back to have it redone. Again the doctor's treatment did not work, the spot returned. I was charged another $150. So $300 for absolutely no improvement. I have had these spots removed several other times--by different doctors--to good effect and with only one treatment. I called the clinic to complain and was told to speak to the clinic manager. I did speak with her and she basically told me they did not care that I'd paid $300 for ineffective treatment, the clinic would neither refund at least half what I paid, if not all, nor would they offer another treatment, this time with a different doctor, and free of charge.

My husband and I were scheduled for my first appointment here today, after months of waiting. Two…read moredays ago, they texted us to say "Now your appointment is in HAMPTON. Sorry for the inconvenience. Call us to change or cancel." Awesome. So I call this office, but their scheduling department is a call service who didn't know what was going on. It is nearly impossible to get ahold of someone in the actual office. I left a message on a machine at the actual clinic, a person eventually called back but I was in a meeting at work so couldn't answer. But they left a message with their extension to dial to reach them directly. Sounds good, right? Except I called 6 times over the rest of the day (including once maybe 5 minutes after they called me) and they never answered, and the "extension" numbers don't have a voicemail. The next day the Hampton office calls and again I don't answer because I was busy, and I get another extension that no one ever answers. Nice. But they also call my husband, and he does answer! Turns out, they had screwed up their doctor's schedule and decided to reschedule all of the patients to Hampton instead of the doctor to VA Beach, I guess. If we wanted to reschedule, it would be months of wait, again. Awesome. Anyway, despite him saying "we" would like to cancel, they only canceled his appointment. I guess they thought he was using the royal "we". So I called and left a message on their clinic's answering machine that I would like to cancel... and I'm still getting text messages this morning about my appointment in Hampton. I'm realizing now that I dodged a bullet, because no doctor is good enough to justify this level of incompetence and lack of care for their patients from the front of house.

If you want to see a doctor about a suspicious lesion, you better make an appointment now for 2024. And you won't get a reminder for the appointment because it will have been entered into their computer calendar incorrectly, but it will be YOUR fault you missed the appointment just because they can not be accountable for their clerical mistakes. I guess we will be getting a bill for their incompetence. Whoever is answering the phone over there needs lessons in compassion.

I have been a patient of this dermatology practice under its various names for about 25 years and…read morehave had very satisfactory experience with several fine dermatologists on the staff. As a person whose work is done outdoors in the sun I've had the chance to meet many skin care professionals. Last month when I went in for what has become more or less routine maintenance I found that the practice has been taken over by a large organization that obviously views its patients as nothing but Income opportunities. That was made painfully apparent by the new doctor who got in and out as quickly as possible, squirting a few quick spritzes of liquid nitrogen, prescribed a month's treatment of flourouricil, and left after handing me about two days' worth of cleanser and moisturizer and brief instructions. During the second week of applying the medication to my scalp I developed a serious reaction. I telephoned the office twice to seek advice but had to leave messages both times for a voice that assured me I would be called back promptly. When my symptoms grew much worse the following day I realized these clowns were not going to be of any use so I went to my family doctor who immediately took me off the medication and cleaned up the results of their incompetence. Needless to say I won't be going back to them and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
