Ac., the owner, is an acupuncturist, nurse practitioner, herbalist, and a Facial Soundscapes™ practitioner. She has personally studied Constitutional Facial Acupuncture™ with me, and practices this modality at Shindai Acupuncture. Kimberly also sponsors boutique educational seminars, the most recent of which was our 4-day certification series in Facial Soundscapes: Harmonic Renewal. We attracted participants from all over the US and Canada, and they thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Some of the participants remained in Sedona after the conclusion of our seminar to explore the sacred sites, and travel elsewhere in the Southwest. Often, attendees will plan a vacation with their families. Shindai Acupuncture is a private venue, and yet it is conveniently situated for easy access to Uptown Sedona, with its shops and restaurants. It is a wonderful place to receive transformative facial acupuncture treatments, and attend educational seminars. As an acupuncturist, Kimberly Maloney is: * Knowledgeable, well-trained and dedicated; * She works with all sorts of imbalances and ailments; * She has the advantage of being both an acupuncturist and a nurse practitioner; * Kimberly has a wonderful sense of humor, and it is a joy to work with her!! As a seminar sponsor, Kimberly handled all the logistics, interfaced with the attendees, and answered any pertinent questions. She took attendees on personalized hikes in the neighborhood, and organized a group dinner following the conclusion of the event. Please contact me with any questions, or contact Kimberly Maloney personally.

They are both very lovely and kind people, I have felt so comfortable every time I visit their office. This is important to me as I am recovering from PTSD (from both domestic abuse & my time in the military) as well as a recent mild traumatic brain injury. Sig was the one treating me in all of my sessions, he is one of the best acupuncturists I've been to over the years! He's very knowledgeable, down to earth, and caring. A big thing for me is to be treated like a human and not rushed in & out of care (whether that be western or eastern medicine). Each session he took time to hear my concerns and include me in my care while treating me as a whole person, which I really appreciated. Sig also respected all my boundaries, frequently checked in with me throughout the session to make sure I knew every step of the way what was going on, and that I was comfortable. I could not recommend them enough! Sadly, we travel full time so after a couple months of twice a week sessions I had to say goodbye but I will definitely be returning when we're back in the area.

The first time I was at Sedona Ranch, I attended a women's retreat with a friend of mine - it was perfect in every sense. The reason we chose this retreat from other retreats we found in Sedona was because of its intimate setting (in our group we had 4 women), the fact that it was non-bougie (see Urban Dictionary)/felt inclusive, and the history and purpose of the ranch when it was created by Fernanda. It felt right, and it was right. I walked away with several 'Aha!' moments, and was able to carry those shifts into my everyday life when I left. The second time I was at Sedona Ranch, my friend and I (who attended the women's retreat the first time around) brought along two more friends to hang out with us. Aside from the retreats that Fernanda hosts, she also rents out her tiny homes and trailers on her ranch! So what did we do? My friends and I planned a vacation there! We rented out the tiny homes and chose to do some activities with Fernanda: acu-yoga, hiking/ATV rides, and cupping. The rest of the time we were able to chill, relax, and grill our own meals. It's a great way to un-plug, recharge, and reconnect. If you're looking for a place that will wait on you hand and foot, this is not the place for you. Rather, this is a place for you to be re-inspired, recharged, reconnected, and be empowered. At the end of the trip you'll be like "What?! I cooked my own meals like a boss! I rode an ATV like a boss! I connected like a boss! I am a BOSS!".
