Really enjoyed shopping for my groceries here! The Jumbo (formally c1000) has really made shopping…read morequick and easy. After paying for a shopping cart (50 euro cents) you walk in and can grab your own scanning device. You start at the touch screen and it assigns you your very own scanner. While you shop all you really need to do is scan each item and place it in you shopping bag. Once you are done with your shopping you go to one of the cashier centers that handles the self scan system. They will charge you and you will be on your way. Be aware that they do random checks to ensure that people are in fact scanning their items properly. Things I would change: Since the self scan system is so popular I think it's necessary to have more cashier stations handle this service instead of the traditional shopping system! Right now that is NOT the case. Make it easier to scan like items! Now you have to use the (+ and -) on your scanner instead of being able to scan like items more than once. Overall: Highly recommended! Tips: Bring your own bag and don't forget to scan every item!
