I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Price Crutcher, owner of Coastal Tides Painting,…read moreand his professional and conscientious staff on two occasions. I did not know a reputable painter, as my previous painter retired. After meeting Price while walking my dog one day, he explained that he had a painting company. The trim on my then 63-year old house was in need of pressure washing and a new coat of paint, so I asked Price if he would be interested in this work. After getting Price's estimate for the work, we agreed to get started. There is always more than meets the eye, whether it is exterior or interior painting. Price took great care in pressure washing, sanding, spackling and painting the trim. He was meticulous, professional, fair and pleasant. I knew I had made a good decision in choosing his company to do this work! Meanwhile, the interior of my home had not been painted in about 10 years. I was ready to change the feeling of the house, as there was a heaviness to it. Price and I discussed the project, and agreed that most of the downstairs needed a lift, and after reviewing his estimate, I said "let's get started". This job included all the trim, walls and plenty of doors. I liked the chosen color so much, that I decided to have Price's crew paint the stairway to the 2nd floor, and my Master bedroom! Prepping for a job this size takes time and skill. Price's crew were meticulous, pleasant and very professional. Three coats of paint were required on the walls. It was a large project. To watch the house change color, and character was delightful. Price values and cares for his staff, and it is obvious that their mutual respect and communication are solidly in place. I have to admit that as the project came to a conclusion, that I was sad to see everyone leave! My house had truly been transformed into my home, with great professionalism and thoughtfulness from everyone on the team. I am delighted to say that in the coming weeks, Price and his crew will begin to transform the exterior of my home. I am so very fortunate to have know and work with Price Crutcher and his staff. They are all the epitome of the time-honored commitment to detail, and are focused on giving each client the very BEST of themselves. l highly recommend Coastal Tides Painting for transforming my house into a gracious home. Price Crutcher and his staff are simply the BEST! Jeanie Sutherland - Riverland Terrace, James Island

I was two months away from being able to move in and wanted fresh paint in a different color, and all the ceilings painted while the house was empty. Price met me the day of the home inspection and we discussed the particulars. I could tell in the first five minutes that he was a professional and I felt confidence in him right away, which was important since I wouldn't be on site during the work. He and his crew painted the ceilings and repaired the walls which were a mess, then painted. A point of great customer service was that I requested that old light fixtures, drapery hardware, and a ceiling fan be removed and they did this for me. All this was accomplished in a few days and Price sent progress photos every day to keep me informed. The walls look great and I'm particularly impressed with the ceilings! They went from dingy and stained in places to beautiful, clean white and it looks SO much better. Price and his crew did a perfect job at my new home and it was a pleasure to move into such a transformed space. I recommend Coastal Tides Painting with no reservations. I am 100% satisfied.
