I thought for sure that it would end up being a bit more, but I figured it's still a good deal considering I wouldn't need to spend my day lugging a machine over to then clean the carpets myself. Ben showed up right on time even after I changed the time of our appointment the day before. Moving is stressful and he was completely understanding of my timing predicament. I had myself and a small team finishing up some cleaning while they were there. I hated to be in their way, but I was handing over the keys in a couple hours. Ben and his assistant pre-treated any stains and high traffic areas and got to work. The wand machine they use seemed to do an amazing job compared to any standard carpet cleaner I've encountered in the past. They worked very quickly, but were thorough. In less than 2 hours, they finished the job and were on there way for a total of... you guessed it, $69. Not a penny more!

Mold invaded our hVAC system and all the ducts, and spread around our two story 4000sq/ft house…read more Mold was so thick, most of our upholstered furniture could not be saved. I received a few estimates to remediate our system and clean our ducts that were between $8000-$14000. Then ECO Friendly Services came to our rescue! Not only did they save us thousands of dollars, they were available almost immediately. Professional and thorough, they explained the process in detail and provided before and after photos. I was so impressed, and never expected the ducts to be so clean after a relatively quick treatment. With 4 kids I am also so thankful that the process is GREEN, and safe for everyone working in the home. I am so thankful for Effy's (our technician) calm, detailed demeanor during what was an emergency for our family. I recommend them highly.

When I made the appointment I explained on the phone that I have a stacked unit on the second floor that vents to the roof and asked if there was anything I needed to do to prepare for the appointment. I was assured it was no problem at all and they would clean the vent from inside the house. The person who came out was kind of rude and complained about having to move my washer and dryer to get to the vent. My slow drying times didn't improve at all and based on the amount of lint they got out, I'm not confident it's really that much cleaner. Next time I'll find someone else.

I hired "Trusted handyman" aka Stephen koo and wish I hadn't…read more.. I Hired him for a simple bathtub installation. Came on a Thursday and installed the tub without the required rim boards which is required by the installation instructions and was discussed in writing prior. When I reminded him day before they must be installed his response was "we know". Then they didn't install. Quite the attitude for what's the come.... He came back out on Friday to add the boards and reinstall. While I'm at work him and his counterpart text me multiple times job is complete now and they want payment. He threatens to sue me for payment on Monday...again this is the SAME DAY they finished within a couple hours since the job is "complete". Stephen sounded like a desperate money hungry psychopath in my opinion. Alarm bell starts ringing.... I tell them especially since previous days misinstallation I will inspect it and water test before paying them. They try making excuse that "you also can't use water until tile is installed". What a lie! Thank goodness I didn't listen. So the next morning I cut off the tube he had blocked and ran the water and guess what? It leaking like a wide open sieve and damaged the ceiling below. (Video below) Long story short I had to hire an actual plumber who tore out and redid all their shoddy work. The plumbing they did to the spout didn't meet code either and was off center. No washer or propert sealant was installed on the tub drain which is why it leaked. Was also installed way off center. No fasteners were installed in the tub either. It's hard finding ANYTHING that was done properly. He even had the gall to state "you telling us how to do the work and I'm just wondering why you just didn't do it yourself?? We did a good job at a fair price." I regret hiring them and wouldn't recommend...to say the least. Photos and video below. Based on previous reviews he's going to say this is "Fake" and he never worked for me. He doesn't do contracts? Just to get ahead of that....I've posted our contract on my post on Nextdoor. He's also not licensed in the state of South Carolina to perform plumbing work..... this is ILLEGAL. He lies on multiple platforms. He claims Chris is his employee also a tech then he says later he's unaffiliated with him. Never met anyone this untruthful.

Pros: - plenty of connections to leverage in completion of…read moredifferent types of work - helped us find reasonable priced solutions - timely - communicative with us during the process (until the end) Cons: - disappeared after a slip-up (more details in following paragraph) - did not follow through with "punch list" for clean up - made assumptions of what work would be completed by outside trades we hired, leading to delays after his portion of work. Summary paragraph: We had hired Jake to complete a renovation of our basement. The process leading up to and during the renovation was very good. Jake cleared most of work with us as he completed each step (sheet rock, drywall mud, electrical, etc.) Everything was moving swimmingly, and frankly a 5 star rating, until we got towards the end and a minor mishap by CHS handyman with the flooring caused a delay in completion of the entire space (work after Jake's initial portion). While the delay was unfortunate this wasn't something to dissuade us from working with Jake in the future. The cons of our experience come after all of this occurs. Jake had asked us to make a "punch list" of things to clean up cosmetically for him when he came back. We had also spoken about completing some floorboards for the room at an additional price. We said we would love to do both and when the time came we would follow up. We reached out to Jake to inform him the basement was cleared for him to do the floorboards and to complete the "punch list" of items for cosmetic clean-up. Jake did not reply to these inquiries. TLDR: - removed 1 star for ghosting us in completion of additional work. Leading to further delays in completion of the space. - removed 1 star for not following through with punch-list items. Requiring us to hire outside help to fix. Edited review to move to 3 stars as I was able to fix some of the previous issues myself.

They came out to provide an estimate, and to my surprise, they offered to proceed with the installation at the same time. Apparently, they charge labor by the hour, so when they were done, they charged me $500 less than estimated as they finished quicker.
