This Newtownards based contracting company are excellent at what they do. McCelland Contactors are a family run company that specialise in joinery and plastering. Winston the companies proprietor is primarily a joiner but recently when my mums work had a burst water tank and in turn a huge flood he managed to get the effected rooms ship shape in no time. McCelland and his associates managed to dry the wet beams in the ceiling and make them structurally sound before completing the plastering that got all the staff dancing on the ceiling. Not literally as it needed time to try, this would be silly. Watching the work dry was about the only thing they had to wait on, McCelland was rapid but did the job well. That's to say that the roof has not caved in and the job was completed months ago. They were called in at quite short notice due to the state of the home. If the same urgency was shown by other tradesmen we would have buildings going up more often than Jeremy Kyle does a DNA test.
