I tried to post this review on Angie's list, but they don't accept negative reviews. I hired Cole…read moreHutton several month ago to paint the main floor and a hallway with the staircase in my townhouse. His price was high, but he was available right away and had recommendations. We agreed on the price and the scope of work and I left for 2 weeks. In about one week Cole told me that the work is finished. When I came back I found trash on the floor, partially covering paper on the floor and an open bag of trash sitting in the middle of the dining room. HVAC Registers and outlets covers still laying of the floor, paint on my bathroom sink, unfinished baseboards, cracks and sloppy painting over the dust and hair on the baseboards, railings, built in shelves, and doors. The hardwood floor had large visible stains that weren't there before. On the top of that Cole send me unexpected $500 invoice claiming that he had to paint the crown molding extra coat, which is a scam. When I addressed these problems to Cole he told me that I have to pay him extra $500 on the top of $4500 that we agreed. Also, he assured me before the work started that he would warn me in writing if any additional work would be needed (I have his e-mail). We went through every detail twice before he started. In his new invoice he added extra coat for the crown molding and the things that we already discussed, which was part of the original deal (take down an old chandelier and the speakers, etc). He said it's $1000 more, but he gives me a discount to $500. This is just a scam for more money. Cole did not prepare the walls for painting. He simply painted over the dust and debris that where on the walls and along the baseboards. It looks horrible! He didn't fix all the deficiencies and I ended up cleaning after him. The floor is ruined with large stains from the paint and probably the tape. Cole blamed another worker who worked upstairs in a bathroom, but that guy didn't use any paint. The floor is not scratched, it is stripped by a paint dissolvent and a taping scotch. Also, they used my vacuum cleaner and washed brushes in my bathroom sink instead of the utility sink in the garage. I can see the blue paint on my sink. Cole told me to scrape it off with my fingers. Cole, why don't you use your fingers. I don't think I should be scraping off the paint on my sink after I paid you $4500.

Cole did an amazing job in my basement. Cole hung the drywall, sealed it, primed it, painted it, and did the trim work. All the work was done for 4 rooms, a hallway, and a bathroom in under three weeks. Cole was also super great about communication as made me aware of issues or changes that needed to take place. I would highly recommend Cole and his work.

Having previously been…read moredisappointed from lack of response from two other painters and one ridiculously overpriced quote, I resorted to checking with Yelp. Actually, this should have been my first resort but hubby had referrals from two of the painters. Any how, after calling Anthony, he provided a quick response and even came out the same day to prepare the free quote. He was respectful and professional and promised the quote via email within a day. True to his word, we received a very competitive quote! The best part was, Anthony was able to begin the work the very next day! That was a huge bonus for us because we were leaving town within several days. His ability to do the work then allowed us the opportunity to travel with a clear mind that the work was done and done well. Anthony and his partner did an excellent paint job on a star burst above our front door and the soffit and fascia around the house. We were quite pleased with their work and professional service. Premier Painting will be our "go to" painters and we highly recommend Anthony and his crew for your future paint jobs

I should have read the negative reviews before using this business. PLEASE READ THIS. Lexi and her…read morehusband Dan Gagahen are scamming multiple people. Sure they might paint someone's cabinets here and there, but they are using someone else's stolen money who likely didn't pursue criminal charges (which is how I got my money back) to fund whatever else they need. This is disgusting that I have to write a review like this, and pray I save someone else from the scam they are doing. I have no idea how they still have their licenses. We hired them to paint the interior of our new home. Everything seemed fine, Lexi was eager to work with us and give us an estimate (SHE RECOMMENDED HER OWN BUSINESS TO ME IN A FACEBOOK MOMS GROUP). We were moving into a new house and set a date for about 1.5 months away. I paid Lexi through Venmo 25 percent down, and from that point on.. the communication was awful. I didn't receive a color book in the mail, multiple excuses of covid, having covid, coming in contact with people who had covid. Things weren't looking good but my husband and I kept a positive attitude. Our start date was approaching, no communication. So my husband started communicating with Lexi via text. Then we had a group text going, things started to look up.. about 5 days away from our start date we had to go look at paint colors ourselves still hopeful the job would happen. Then, the day before the start date came.. we received another excuse that they had come in contact with someone with covid, and had to postpone until test results came back. It wasn't typical turnaround time.... We waited three more days. Continued to follow up with Lexi. Emailed her and husband Dan (they had already used the excuse of covid to us once). Then they said they would start about 3 days after the original start date- planned to meet us around 930am. On THE START DATE that had already been extended Lexi text us that "one of the guys" they employ (I'm not even sure they have employees) has a wife that tested positive so prep work wouldn't begin that day. Long story short we asked for a refund and to part ways. No response from Lexi, so I emailed Dan. He stated he understood and would be in touch in the morning. No one followed up, so we continued to attempt to contact them to receive our deposit back. It wasn't until I explained that I would be involving the police that Lexi began to say she needed a few days "for another check to clear" and she could pay me Monday (this was a Wednesday or Thursday)-I told her I wanted the money that day, and she then threw some weird labor law at me stating "since we've never been through this before" (which they have!) they had 10 days to pay me and that they would pay me Monday. She paid me $100 to shut me up that day. And Monday came around. No payment and no communication, I contacted my local police department who got in contact with her. She paid me $200 more to hold me off. And the rest would come in a few days. Unacceptable. It took the police contacting Lexi for a third time stating that if she did not pay me back in full by the next day, criminal charges would be filed. 15 minutes later I had the remainder of my deposit back. Lexi and Dan know what they are doing SCAMMING people, the system, and getting around criminal charges. They need to be stopped. I have filed a complaint with the AGs office, and next is the BBB, but there is literally nothing that can be done to them to make them stop. So I pray someone reads my review, and doesn't use this business, you might get your work done or you might be the one they pick to steal from and never show up. I cannot imagine how many people they've done this to, and haven't gotten their money back. THEY ARE BAD HUMANS for doing this to people. I will post everywhere I can, I hopes I save someone from losing money to this scamming couple.

I have been trying to re-stain my bedroom door for a while now and finally had to accept that…read morealthough I am good at a number of things in life, this was not one of them. I was sanding down the parts of the door that my dog had scratched, re-stained the entire door multiple times allowing lots of time between coats, and it just kept drying as a patchy, unsightly mess. It doesn't sound like much but it's on the main floor of my single-level house and I was embarrassed when people would visit and have to pass by it on the way to the restroom. I searched on Yelp, as I always do, for a professional to do this job and I really liked Josh talking about the mission of his company to provide for his son, along with his excellent reviews, so I reached out. He was super responsive and was able to provide me with a quote based on photos. His quote was based on a per hour rate which always concerns me a bit because you can get contractors taking advantage of that and artificially extending their time, but he gave me a range of expected hours and said the job would not go more than $350 regardless of how much time he spent. I appreciated that upfront approach and we agreed on a day for him to start. He came over two days to do the main part of the job and I could see why it took so long as he really did it properly, sanding the door down to the dry wood and starting from scratch, which obviously was my mistake and took a whole lot of time. He did the job very professionally, removing the door from the hinges and setting it up on stands in my garage. After the door was completely dry, he planned to stop by an extra time for just a couple of minutes to put it back on its hinges, and we encountered a problem where the door, which is very old, had come apart a bit at the edges from the sanding and wouldn't close once put back on. Josh was completely unwilling to accept this as an end result and took it off again to address the problem using wood glue and clamps. Including drying time, this resulted in a couple of extra visits to my home at no extra charge, simply because he wanted to make sure the job was worthy of his five-star reviews. I was impressed with his work and his work ethic, and he more than deserves that five-star review. I won't hesitate to hire him in the future. Thanks, Josh!
