The McCauley Community League helps plan and implement programs in the McCauley neighbourhood in Edmonton's inner city. The League usually teams up with other organizations in the area to provide recreational and educational programs for children and adults. It is an entirely volunteer driven organization that is always looking for people to get involved. Board members are especially needed, if you live in the area. Community league memberships cost very little compared to other places in the city - for a single person it is three dollars, and for a family it is five. With membership, you get to become a voting member of the organization, and you can also get a discount if you want to go work out at the Commonwealth recreational centre. You can still get a membership even if you don't live in McCauley - a Friends of McCauley membership costs the same price. read more
