Most people who do this type of thing have gone all digital. -Ambiguous and non-existent in communication. Had to initiate to find out any information about when, where, and what I needed to bring. -Lawyer was condescending and rude during closing. While she was TECHNICALLY hired by the buyer, I did pay her a lawyer fee to handle my selling paper work. I'd appreciate it if the person I hired didn't scoff when I asked questions, act like they were in a marathon and tell me to sign things with out explaining. -Failed to communicate properly with my agent and the utility companies forcing me to pay a $1000 escrow account for water and sewer. They claimed they didn't get info in time even though (a) they said I was up to date the entire time and (b) my agent showed proof that we had sent info on time. Very unprofessionally handled. -Failed to bring the commission check to my agent upon the closing. If she had owned this, that would be one thing. However, she blamed it on her assistants for not assembling the package together properly and went so far as to call her out for not speaking up in the meeting. -This all would've been fine but it took 1.5 months to get the escrow money back and was only delivered to me when I called and asked. Again, the firm blamed it on someone else (the sewer company). However, I literally had just gotten off the phone with them and they informed me it had been closed out for several weeks and they had to prompt the law firm for the paperwork. In other words, they failed to own their own failures again. Best case scenario, they forgot about it and were reminded when I called. Worst case, they were hoping to make an extra $1000. Any of these negatives would be whatever on their own and I understand they have a difficult job. However, when added up together it makes for an unpleasant experience. I won't be using them for any legal needs and would recommend others avoid.

I am thankful for the divorce mediation services my ex-husband and I got from Kerry as we went…read morethrough our divorce.
